$330 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot nears record high
i am well aware of jack , but my case against buying more tickets to increase one's odds are easily backed up....
when was the last time you heard of anyone (besides one person) stating during their acceptance speech that they played anything much beyond even $5 ?
the lottery has been around a long time, and the news stories are archived at LP.
you would be hard pressed to find very many at all that won after buying more than $5 in tickets.
if this multiple ticket approach actually

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
Thanks. I also won [$4 #295] and a [free ticket #299] on these, at a different store. The following were losers: 294, 296, 297, 298.
I read somewhere else in this post, I believe, that they put out more winners when a game is new, to get the word out, so that folks will play that game. I bought 2 more of the same ticket, #272 and #273 when I went to cash in the winner. Those were both losers. Has it been your experience that there are multiple winners in the same book? Or would I be better to

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Yeah, I buy my tix in a lot of different stores. I've bought tickets in so many lotto joints that I cant possibly tell you how many. It has to be well over 100, maybe even 200. When I'm out of town (but still in New York) I make it a point to look for a lottery sign in a convenience store window. I've bought upstate, down state, Long Island and everwhere in between. I always buy when I'm in Manhattan, but I'm not down there too much lately. I live in Dutchess County so I ride Metro-North to get

$75,000 Crossword Illinois $5 scratch off
I have been having a lot of luck lately with this ticket.
In January of this year I won $1000, got 7 words on each grid($500 x 2)
I've won at least 4 $100 prizes on the past 3 months.
AND in April I got 9 words in the second grid and won $10,000! Was in
shock when I saw that.
Then there have been times where I have bought multiple tickets in a row and
did not win a thing. I think it's a matter of being in the right place at the
right time and getting the right ticket!

Store clerk accused of stealing $1M lottery ticket from customer
You would be surprised how many people don't check their tickets; I've had people ask me what the MM numbers were on a date two months ago. Another problem is people watch the drawings and write down the numbers as they are drawn and believe their numbers must be in the same order. We wonder how they can do that but they don't play very often and there are games where the numbers must be in the exact order.
Some people buy MM and PB tickets without knowing there are secondary prizes and/or th

What do you prefer
I immediately cast my vote for scratch (rip) offs because the few I did buy years ago made me feel as though I was just exchanging legal tender for worthless paper that dirtied my car (the grey scratch off stuff). Had a few small dollar winners for a string, but I saw those as just a way to rope one into buying yet another scratch off that would be worthless. From time to time, you hear about the person who purchased the big winner using the proceeds of a small dollar winner, but that story has

Finally Pick 3 Technique!! next week! numbers Must Read old post: *Pick 3 Technic*
It isn't hard to make up a list of 24 Pick-3 numbers that will get at least 30+ hits nationwide with an average of 5 straight hits among them over the next seven days.
What I used to do was take the all different box numbers with the most hits from the week before, lock them and build a 2if2 (timed random search 1 sec optimized) wheel around them in CoverMaster.
My goal was 24 numbers, so the number of hot numbers would vary, add some lose some until I got the wheel to 24 numbers to

Florida Lottery draws same Play 4 numbers
But nobody is answering why, if the reason so many people won on Wed is because they bet the same numbers from Tues evening, there 5 to 10 times the winners on Tues night as well?
It looks like some of the Tuesday winners used some of their winnings and played the same number again multiple times. The average payout on Tuesday evening drawing and the Wednesday midday drawing are almost the same and that's sort of strange unless they all used the same straight to box ratio they used the nigh

Have You Ever Had This To Happen To You
If I'm playing 972 and 046 comes up, it doesn't bother me. But if I'm playing 972 and 872 hits, I kick myself for about 11 seconds.
Last Tuesday was only the third time I played Ohio's pick-3 this year. I played 023 on January 7 because that was the date the last time it hit, 24 years ago. In May my neighbor asked me if I would play 827 for them so I played it too and caught a box win. On Tuesday I noticed many people predicting 820 and 830 which were two of my pet numbers from years ago so

I need your help TODD
That list you guys posted is mainly people whom haven't posted very many picks in the last 30 days. In fact some are newcomers who just joined. It isn't a good indicator of whom is a good predictor.
If i were to join today and post 10 picks for every state the same number and my number hits 10 times in two or more states. I would jump to the top of the list too. In the same regard i could post 10 picks for all states pick 5 games and have the jackpot won with my predictions i would also jump
