Do some number combinations have better odds?
I don't claim to be scientific in my findings, but it seems that 25-30% of any given number pool can be successfully eliminated about 50% of the time using random numbers.........

$325 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot goes through the roof
Almost thought you were a coworker until you mentioned office. If our pool wins you will see the largest lawsuit in lotto history. The guy running it only writes down first names.

Will Any Of You Powerball Haters Be Playing On This Next Draw?
That a good point but I just thought if multiple players played them at the some time there could be some type of voooodoooo magic that overshadows them and causes them to making us front page news as the first pool even where everyone bought the same set of numbers and every won equal amount sized JP's.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I took the entire 3.8 million MM pool and divided it into 39 equal groups to track the performance of each group but realized..... I aint got no computer skills and quite tracking, but I often wonder what the past performance of those groups are just out of curiosity.....

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Producing a physical list that size would take time and I would probably be blindly picking from it and that is what I'm doing when I'm picking random combinations made up from numbers in the pool. If all the winning numbers are in the two pools, I'm likely to have a small winner anyway since the overall odds of having a winner are 1:9.8.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Even though RJOh, decided not to like my method of eliminating numbers from a given number pool I think it is the best tool that I have found. As soon as I hit 5 of 5 on MM, people will believe that it works.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Using a 2 if 5 of 56 wheel made it relatively easy to hit 3 of 5 but the odds of hitting all 5 winning numbers were still way way out there odds wise. Even reducing the pool to 20 was extremely long odds.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
mmmmmm, multiple people have done it 3+ times in the last 39 draws and you don't feel up to doing it once..... even for a free 5000 MM ticket pool entry......... Interesting RJOh.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I save lines to play like a syndicate or pool as some players call it. Saving lines allows you to play multiple lines without spending extra money.
