Ct. man claims he lost $254M Powerball ticket
I've heard the lottery can be pretty strict about people who take the winning tickets of others. Someone who finds (steals) a jackpot-winning ticket can always be sued for the money if someone else tries to claim it when they weren't the one that purchased it. There are security cameras and they can be traced back to the exact time the ticket was bought I'd imagine.
However, it is irresponsible for someone to lose a ticket like this. I always put my tickets in a special binder and sign t

Tenn. legislators float idea that lower prizes will bring in more money
Could this be a good deal for the banks ? Normally retailers pay a % of a purchase to the bank when credit/debit cards are used. . As a side issue - Bank Of America is trying to get debit/credit card users to pay a $5 fee each month for use of either cards. IF debit/credit cards can be used to buy lottery tickets - will the retailers selling tickets have to pay the lottery a % for each purchase or the user's bank?
I think the idea stinks. What about those who only have a small amount of cash

If you won the lottery what would you really do with the money?
Honestly, I wouldn't change a whole lot. We live a pretty decent life right now - nice home in a nice suburb, kids go to an excellent parochial elementary school, I like my job.
There are a few extras that aren't in our budget right now - son wants to play hockey, daughter wants to take dance lessons. Both of those can really add up expense wise, but I'd definitely get sign the kids up if we won a lottery jackpot.
I'd set aside money so that my kids could attend the high school and colleg

Loose Scratch-offs, or ones that are still attached to the roll?
It could be that, it happened to me once before that I was playing a $10 game, and it looked like it was at the end of the roll, I started on 007 and purchased my way down to 002 and asked for the last two, and he said that I had the last two. I informed him that the last two were 001 and 000, not 002. Rolls do not end on 002. $10 tickets go from 000 to 029.
He admitted that the owner liked to take the first few tickets of the roll, and I informed him that it was fraud, and reported him to th

Winning at NY Take 5
15 16 17 18 28
Ya gotta be kiddin me!
Here's the kicker.... I almost won $20.50 with three numbers. I had 15 18 26. Had that 26 been 28....
And, those three numbers were on one of my idiot partial-QP lines!
One winner of 85 Grand in Greene County (That's in The Catskills) with a QP. If I got a QP with four straight numbers on it, I know how I'd have reacted to it. I wonder if the guy who won felt that same way when he saw that line?
The winner was probably some Old Granny who don

$7 million lottery winner doesn't change a thing
To be honest with you, I wouldn't change much if I won either. I'd plan to stay in the same neighborhood, and I really like my job.*
My children are still fairly young (under 10). I'd like them to grow up living a fairly normal life, watching their parents go to work every day, knowing that they will be expected to be responsible and work hard when they grow up as well.
I wouldn't want my kids to know that I was wealthy, as I wouldn't want them to turn into some sort of rich kid stereotype

If you are Illegal and play lottery shouldn't they learn the rules on collection
Half of what you say is true, but the other half is totally untrue. You know full well the whole Homeland security BS was under Bush. Not just the son, but Daddy Bush and his promise of a One World Government. It's on video ! Sure others before Bush planned this, but to sit there and tell me the Bush crime family had nothing to do with it as well, is you just being uninformed.
I wish I had recorded the many faces in the past when I told them about Grand daddy Prescott Bush, and how he was inv

If you are Illegal and play lottery shouldn't they learn the rules on collection
If you sneak into another country against their laws you will sit and rot in a hell-hole jail til your family bribes someone to get you out.
If you sneak into this country, the democrats will reward you with all kinds of benefits and welfare and put your parents on social security so you'll vote for them.
That's the difference.
An illegal knowing how to collect his winnings should not even be an issue.
Screw the illegal and screw his winnings.
He's not supposed to be here.

True Abundance On Your Birthday Leo's ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You could feel a greater sense of security with your life circumstances today. Knowing that you are blessed might make you feel as if nothing else in life matters, not even the material abundance you have. If you can understand that your real wealth comes from your relationship with spirit and how that manifests itself in this world, then you may realize that there is nothing you will ever lack. Givin
