Have you ever wondered why many lottery retailers are owned by members of certain racial minorities?
All your details can have lots of rebuttal. I just don't want to do it here.
A few things, though:
Less defense spending and higher taxes for those who can afford it (the top 1% has more wealth than the bottom 90% together) will help pay for a stronger social safety net. Taxes are a part of life, so the government isn't forcing anyone to do anything. If I was rich, I would certainly have no problem paying more. No one has ever won in the Middle East, so we would leave there - just beef up

Do not get burned by this service station!
Clark Howard is a leading consumer advocate, he is a nationally syndicated talk show host, and the home is WSB radio 750 AM, and 95.5 FM. He even has his own television show, I do believe that it is on CNN. He has recommended numerous times that someone should picket dishonest businesses, and he has asked callers if they have any young children. One caller replied that he had small grandchildren. Clark replied that he should first check out local laws regarding picketing, city ordinances and suc

Canadian couple gives away entire $11.2M lottery jackpot
pumpi76 said: they could had with: $11 Million buy 22 rental apartments of 8-12 stories with 4 apartments on each floor around the world or in Canada...Each costing: $600,000 to $700,000 construction cost...
It's a common misconception that Lotto winners collect the entire amount of the stated jackpot. Actually, the amount Lotto winners collect, after receiving the cash payout and deducting taxes, is about a third. The amount they actually collected was about $11.2/3 or $3.73 million.

hi and info
i ll give you an example: Suppose i put up a sign on the highway that says: Marry me, Jenniffer Stuffer Brandley from Peter...
Everyone going on the highway will read the sign and say: who is Jennifer but if the real Jennifer Stuffer Brandley pass by on that highway, she will know it was for her she will know who it is...
same thing here...
one thing is to send someone an indirect line the other is to do it all the time as if you want me to see your point...
well that s what he does

$116M Georgia Powerball winner claims prize
Just for the record, those Air Traffic Controllers (I knew one of them) signed a contract agreeing that they could never go on strike.
Shutting down air traffic and holding the nation hostage for higher wages was a matter of national security.
They were already making a ton of money compared to other unions.
They broke their bond, they violated their trust, they went back on their word.
President Reagan gave them a chance to return to work while continuing negotiations. They refused.

What's with NY Sweet Million??
I have 9, 13, and 26, on the last line of the(QP) freebie, so far my take this week is SM-$9.00 PB-$20.00, deducting the cost of the tickets. my winnings amount to $13.
TakeFive: You got it now, that's what happened, the clerk tried to pass off Wednesday's rejected SM ticket to me on Thursday, I never thought about the player rejecting the ticket On Wed. because he didn't get the promo, I bet you are correct, you think like a detective, you should get a job with NY Lottery security (lol).

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Yes, you bring up all good points, it's easy to get scammed when there is so much confusion and the con men are always there to take advantage of someone, even I get mixed up sometimes about what games are on what days, or what day it is, sometimes I'll ask for MM on Wed. when I really want PB, and then I catch myself and have to tell the clerk I really wanted PB before she hits the computer keys!
Due to a confusing situation at a slot machine, I was a victim of theft in Atlantic City at the

Undercover lottery investigation tests store clerks' honesty
I wasn't going to weigh in on this article because I didnt think I could add anything that hasn't already been said by others.
After watching the video's I'd like to add something that I'm aware of. I live in New York State. While they dont confiscate past due parking tickets from lottery winnings, The State of New York will definitely confiscate any child support or NY state income taxes in arrears. I'm aware of those two things, but there could be more that I'm not aware of. Prior to cuttin

Living off of winnings VS living off of interest.
We are in a strange point in the history of this country where many are concerned if the country of the dollar can survive. I don't want to start controversy on the wisdom of it but we put in huge debt to stop the collapse of this country. I don't think that we can survive another 2008.
So they are talking some real hard assets for security. Many say gold. I would look at some great Iowa farmland if things got crazy again. I definately would get hunkerd down somewhat. I would build somewhere
