Will Powerball Be Won Tonight?
Brad: There are new rules for Powerball. Once the PB record ~295 million is exceeded (which will happen if no winner tonight), PB rollovers will be limited to $25 million per drawing, with the excess added to a special prize pool. This bonus will be added to all second prizes WHEN Powerball finally is hit.

72 win $100,000
The news station I listen to said there were 67 who matched the first five numbers...perhaps 5 had the PowerPlay option. I think Powerball tickets will be bought as stocking stuffers. The PB record is ~295.7 million in July 1998; the August 2001 run fell just short.

Remember Powerball's New Rules?
One of there new rules is that once the powerball jackpot gets new record territory they cap the jackpot rollovers to $25 million and use the extra money to make the match 5 white ball prizes bigger. They say it would be a lot bigger too

Florida 6/53
The highest ever Florida jackpot was in 1990, long before FL allowed players to choose. Unforunately, all six winners had to receive (20) annual payments. Let's hope (A) the FL jackpot breaks the state record, and (B) that _none_ of the jackpot money this time goes directly into a lottery-bought annuity.

ga midday all even
Sooooo..........Has anybody noticed it's been NINE days in a row with an even number in the middle? Isn't this against the law of gravity or something? Guess we'll have to wait 'til Monday afternoon. Wonder what the record is for even/odd numbers in a row...???If doubles average coming every three days, and it's been 9 days since the last double for midday GA, I'm still guessing double 1, 3, or 5 for Monday. That 086 all even on Sat. had to be a last gasp.

New Powerball info available
Bryan: Actually, all 5 WHITE balls wins second prize regardless. The base second prize stays at $100,000 (assuming PowerPlay is not selected) UNLESS the jackpot is a PB record AND the jackpot is hit.

New Powerball info available
Hi Secret4777,The second prize is only awarded to players that hit all 5 white balls (what use to be 100,000) and only applies if the jackpot is hit and it was a record jackpot according to what I read awhile back.Later,Bryan :)

Change Game??
The GA Change Game is a quick-pick-only, raffle-style game. Seven nights a week, THREE winning combinations are drawn via computer. An exact match is needed to win (for the record, each ticket is in the form of a1234b ).

The Challenge
Tom,This challenge is for a specific state. The one in which visiondude resides in to be more specific. For the record I have no idea what state he lives in. This challenge isn't about throwing eight numbers out across the entire United States. This is one states pick-3 game....../George
