What if Powerball was created to Recruit Codebreakers or People experts in higher Mathematics
I was looking at Powerball last night and i kept thinking...WHO in the world will come up with such a game....Only Satan would had thought of creating a game like that...Encryption is similar to the lotto...The USA has MANY secrets it wants hidden, when lottery began operating 1984 or 1970 i think the cold war was still going on...Even if it was in 1970 the USA faced so many wars and potential enemies it will not surprise me if Powerball was created with that purpose...They probably knew that wh

North Carolina 4-1 through 4-30
The Virginia Lottery conducts its drawings under rigid security procedures. Three people report to the television studio where the draw show is held at least two hours before the drawing. Two of the draw officials are lottery employees; the other official is from an independent auditing firm. These three people go through an elaborate checklist before every drawing:
They randomly select the ball sets and the draw machines to be used that evening. They test the equipment, conduct pretest

New To Forum - Anonymous question - regarding your place of residence
I'm reasonably certain that the USPO won't let you live in a post office box, and the NY DMV knows what your friend's real address is. You can use one as your legal mailing address, but it's definitely not the address the lottery will use in releasing information about what town you live in. If you live in West Podunk and don't want the lottery to tell people that's where you live you'll have to actually move somewhere else. So far I haven't needed to find out, but I'm guessing that if you live

To Todd and ALL LP Members...
pumpi, no drug cartel is going to put a hit out on a lottery cracker. They don't need to worry about that. Their *players* need instant gratification
- not the kind that comes from hitting a major jp and waiting weeks for the check to arrive.
Don't you think that if a system was effective in cracking the PB/MM's that they would either stop the games or change the odds?
We are all going to disappear in time pumpi...and whether we have some grand system to crack every lottery currently be

You know nowadays: ANYONE can get your picture, alter it, and place it on the internet and write stuff about you that are not true...ANYONE CAN DO IT...someone could be walking infront of you pretending they are taking a picture with their cell phone or they can take a picture at the same instance when you are walking and take your picture, alter it and whoever saw it will believe is you...There are so many ways...It gets to the point that i believe people cheat using other people s identity...I

A question about lotto system odds
When playing just a few lines, I simply run through them to make certain that there's no smaller number combinations shared by any two of the numbers so that I know that I'm getting a wide a field as possible with those few tickets. If the minimum prize is for a three number match then I make certain that there are no three number sequences shared by all the lines. With a pick 6 game out of a field of 49, each line is one of 49C6 combinations and unless you bought the exact same numbers, there's

ARe Hackers 1 step ahead in the lotto??I always had a hunch..
Well, with any change, there are ways to circumvent the system. That's true of the mechanical draws as well, it's just that over time, most of the mechanical means would've been discovered and mitigated. Computers are new and there will be new ways of circumventing them and over time we will find ways of mitigating these problems.
An audit of a computer would include opening up the box and ensuring that only the specified components exist. An audit of the software would be an independent chec

ARe Hackers 1 step ahead in the lotto??I always had a hunch..
I do find the transition to computerized draws disturbing because of the lack of transparency. There are ways to safeguard against tampering, the computer image could be securely kept and the MD5 checksum of it widely published. Indeed the software should be available for download and auditing in source code form. The machine used to run the software can also be securely kept and shouldn't be networked. The checksum of the software and the condition of the machine can be verified by an independe
