1 2 7 9 55 29 was a odd ball combo I may say! I did get 4 numbers on my ticket but didn't line up. I never play QPs and have won 23 times since last March but only tiny jackpots.

The odds for that game are 1 in 41,391,714 so I would say pretty normal if sales per draw are low. I have seen jackpots with lower odds go without a winner longer (i.e. Ohio Classic). Would really need the sales figures to calculate significance

Thanks. Kinda what I suspected. I will give him that he's won heck of a lot more than the average person, but I don't see what qualifies him as a lottery expert to speak on national television commenting on $300 million plus jackpots.

You should check your figures. Most lotteries are designed to payout 50% of sales in prizes which include the jackpots. Since the few jackpot winners get the bulk of the payouts, the other players are lucky if they get back 20% of their money.

I was looking at worldwide jackpots and this Ohio jackpot is right there at #3. What stuck me was that it rolls over by only ~$300,000 at a time, so I looked at the jackpot history. I'm amazed that no one won last year and has been rolling over for so long. I might ask my buddy in Ohio buy me a line or two.

Good call. Leading up to the $400+ mega jackpots, sales for PB were very poor, but it lucked out in timing with the reset. Sales in the first couple of drawings benefited from the extra store traffic - people buying both games, or ignorant people buying powerball tickets instead of mega. Now that the headline jackpot is above mega, it should stay strong.
