You got that right Todd! NJ Pick-6 right now at $38 million, and its inching closer to the record. I think it was around $44 million. 5 of 6 gets you like $2,500+, but you only chose from 49 #'s. While Big Game you choose from 52 #'s.

I think the world record was like $1.2 billion, but that was spilt up up like a lot of people. But, yes if no continues to win till like late June, then the jackpot will surely be at a BILLION! The record is $363 million or so. I would be happy with $364 million. The 500+ million will come by next year, with Powerball following in 2004 after they make their next upgrade.

A few more non-winning drawings and it will break the record of $46 million won last year by the Passiac couple. The sum of 502 is 7. 5+0+2=7. Start a record of past winning numbers and add up the sums of each and you should get a picture of how the sums fall. Your lowest sum is 0 and your highest is 27. Start by going back about 90 days and you should get a handle on the average sums that fall in your game.pegleg

Have you seen the numbers of people standing in line when the jackpot is over $100M. Do you really think the clerk have time to punch in that kind of information or if you could put it on the lottery cards that people would want someone to record how much they spend on the lottery every year. If a player is really interested in his winning ticket he will check his tickets after each draw.Jack

I'm not sure the jackpots will get much larger than $500 million or so. Consider when the jackpot was a record $363 million. There was something like 90% of all possible combinations covered. Even if the odds were 1:135 million, a jackpot of $500 mil. would sell so many tickets that most of the combinations will be covered.-Todd
