I continue to test software on a trial basis and if I find something that is better than I have, I will buy it. Like I have said many time the thing I liked about Lotto Pro was its files were in an ASCII format which made them easy to transport into my program and I bought it and continue to buy their file update service yearly. I can download an updated file for any lottery in the world almost ready to run in my own program with little typing and they also run in Lotto Pro.RJOh

The PowerBall tickets I bought in Indiana last month for DEC31/03 drawing had these numbers.3040932507970406 (the last 10 digits were different for every ticket)765472 (I think this is the store number because it was on every ticket)00149 (I think this the serial number because the next one was 00150)If the time and date is in those numbers, I can't see it.RJOh

Years ago when I serve in the military, Julian dates and other numbers were used on purchase orders not to confuse anyone, but because it was a compact code that could contain more information in 10 characters than could be if it was written in a conventional way. I assume those codes contain more information than just the date and take less computer space to store.RJOh

Excalibur,My program started was originally written for Buckeye5/37 and Ohio6/44 and had an extra character for jackpot amounts. Over the years I changed the jackpot amount to a bonus ball and the file structure has stayed the same. It only works for pick5's and pick6's game with/without bonus balls. RJOh
