When the lottery does not award a jackpot for whatever reason, like in the Tipton case, shouldn't that jackpot be fully awarded to a second winner, if there are more that one winner, or simply added to the next jackpot amount, instead of telling us that it is going towards education, which nobody believes anyway?.

Thanks for being here. Respective of the Tipton case, what prompted inquiry? Was it actually a breach recognition within the system, or a personal reference?

C,mon, use your head. If these people amassed the amount of time and effort to catch Tipton, what in the world would make you think the Lottery is rigged everywhere. The focus on this would be to downsize computer drawings. Ask yourself this Question, what would you rather have , Ball drawings or Computerized drawings? It's that simple.

You get an A+ for arranging the discussion Todd. I have always felt RNG lotteries were rigged even before the Tipton scandal. Yes, let's ask him when his state plans to switch to live ball drawings. Which is the only way to bring integrity back to the game. Let the people see what they are paying for. WTG!

I agree, when they let someone like him go and still give him all the goodies that went with the job, they just do it to appease the public. (Because they still think we are dumb enough to fall for that) But in reality the only one taking the fall is Eddie Tipton, as he really is losing everything. But then again, if Eddie really did what they claim, maybe he deserves to lose.

When I watched the ticket buying video I didn't see a play slip, the ticket was for five draws, and didn't indicate it was a QP. The New Mexico Lottery is saying only one of their jackpot prize winners was a self pick meaning that's the only drawing Tipton could win.

I took it to mean the only way to win picking your own numbers was to cheat, the winning numbers weren't picked completely randomly. Tipton knew that and took advantage of it. The RNG had a designed flaw to get a desired result.

I think what they are saying is that Tipton knew what numbers to play because of the software that was installed, therefore only jackpot winning tickets with player opted picks would be susceptible to possible fraud connected to the scheme, likewise, subject to inquiry within the investigation.
