The real question...
Pacemaker, I wrestle with the idea of a God -- since I'm an Agnostic. However, I believe in luck and a Creator: that person or being -- male or female -- has nothing to do with my financial situation: timing is everything. If that were the case, no one would be poor because God could intervene and get you out of your financial difficulties -- since He or She is supposedly to be powerful!Well, I read about the lady who was staying with a relative, and she really wanted to move because she didn'

Will the TX lottery winner...come forth!
Yes, I am being sarcastic. The lone winner should not show his or her face on TV because everyone wants to see who he or she is? Gee, I hope the person has an answering machine to screen the calls or an unlisted number.Put yourself in the person's shoes: the person has not come forth because he or she is trying to get his or her financial house in order, or he or she is waiting patiently for the media to ignore him or her. Sometimes, great news flashes will supercede any lottery media attenti

Psychic predictions (I am getting results

If I understand Keith, it's like this, somewhat simplified:Say the lottery draws every Saturday. Every Monday he goes i

Psychic predictions (I am getting results
Quote: Originally posted by KWHILBORN on June 20, 2004 It is important to try to forget these numbers, especially if you are playing a lottery where you need every number. Do not be shy about waiting a couple of days until you have truly forgotten your picks. ( i once waited a week with equally good results ). You will see why. It is because if you needed 7 numbers and you know one of your picks was the 27 and there is no 27 among the winning numbers you will lose interest in the broadcasting

Would you tell or not?
because the whole crew is there as witnesses and the lottery officials immediately telephone the print and radio media outlets to tell them the numbers which were just broadcast. There's at least two lottery officials who do everything together at all times. So, no one can rig it.Also, some stations carry it live. On the satellite feed, all the affiliate stations don't even see the practice draws so there won't be any confusion. The control room at the studio station doesn't hit the video sw

Rng and Ping pong Balls
Agree, I think that's what killed the hearts and diamonds game in Pa. years ago. Some people don't trust computers, but then there was the trip 6 fix of 1980. I think old Nick should have used a different combination than a triple and he would have gotten away with it. But even still, watching the balls bounce is real, honest, and more fun.On that note, our mid-day daily drawings are computer generated and veiwable only on computer. Wonder how many people know that or moreover affects their

Minnesota Lottery moves to boost integrity
Legislation designed to increase accountability at the Minnesota Lottery moved forward Wednesday, while fallout from the lottery's troubles continued.A Senate committee passed a bill that would have the state lottery director serve at the pleasure of the governor, which means he or she can be removed for no reason. Current law requires the governor to show misconduct before firing the director.Sen. Ann Rest, DFL-New Hope, introduced the bill this year after reports the lottery director may have

To go back over what I said . . .The big winner of every draw is the government because they collect almost half the lottery prize in taxes. They couldn't care less if you predicted and won the lottery one time or a

Times Square gets Mega ball drop
Question: Are New York drawings still televised on WPIX-TV? (WB-11). We have it on cable down here in Pa., but sometimes it's blacked out (due to Syndex rules of duplicating syndicated programming around 7 PM). I caught a drawing a few years ago, That Yolanda sounds like the lady who used to do the drawings. Can check, but don't have Mega Million tickets, either. Closest to me is Maryland. Since it's that big, maybe someone from work will go down there; but with Power Ball, why bother? And
