I would give two weeks notice and it would be the happiest two weeks of my life. I don't think I'd be able to hide my joy. Not because I don't like my job because I do (I teach tennis) but to leave and have the money to do whatever I want (play golf and travel) would be an overwhelmingly joyful feeling. I'd look something like this for those two weeks:

I just visited South Florida, and I know I was surrounded by many millionaires and multi-millionaires. How else could the same people play golf several times per week while driving nice luxury cars? Turn-key sounds like the best because dealing with renovations and builders can be a nightmare. Been there, done that, no more thank you! I'd not want anything too grand or posh though because that's not the way I am. Single-storey, overlooking some sort of natural or green space (i.e., golf course, wilderness, ocean, lake, etc.). I love wood so the house would have lots of that - solid wood floors doors, lots of wood mouldings and wooden framed windows - all clear stained, not painted. T

Thanks for the post, shyguitar. I feel it's worth it to play both....regular lotto tickets and scratcher tickets. As far as worth it to gain more $$ . . . I have my doubts. I play for fun only. A small ranch/ranchette w/ live water and plenty of trees, close enough to a decent sized town to go in for groceries and dining, but far enough away from neighbors to be private.
