So in its quest for greater profits, as if having a record breaking 2023 wasn't enough, the New Jersey Lottery continues its trend of raising ticket prices while adding gimmicks and reducing prizes. Hmmmm $ 50 mil starting jackpots ..... What do they estimate the following jackpot to increase. Multiplier 10 x .... Does that include 2nd prize/ 1st runner up? I'll still play but .... won't but a ticket until it hits 200 mil ..... And won't but 2 tickets until it hits 400 mil etc etc. gotta be economical! Lastly ... Would it hurt the consortium to reduce the annuity to 20 years instead of 29?

Man, I could write a book on this one. So I'll keep it brief... How do you expect the prize pool to grow faster when you're adding 20% more players ??? (Not really- see next item.) UK players will reject this based on the ticket cost and taxable (US portion) jackpots. This is just a test market to see if Powerball can sell a $5+ ticket ( 4= $5.44 US).
