In NH if you try to enter a non-winning ticket on-line for a promotional drawing, it will generate an invalid ticket message if the ticket is a winner. Don't understand why other states couldn't adopt this same technology?

Property taxes seem to be higher in Texas... probably because we do not have a state income tax. Build a $10-$12m house, with property taxes of 2%-2.5%, and you have a monthly tax bill of $20k-$25k. I'm guessing a house like I would want, built conventionally, would probably cost less than 5 million. But I'm doubling it for the technological upgrades I want to try to make it self-sufficient. I plan to push the limits of solar technology, etc.
