bashley572 you live in the middle of New York and maybe that could be the problem...:):)..Always and tiggs means always keep the bad ticket and if you see a ticket on the machine that someone turned back BUY IT..Good luck bashley..

Meds??..tiggs has tons of meds..You need meds just ask tiggs..A bet slip is the piece of paper you mark your numbers on then they run the said bet slip into the machine and your ticket comes out and they hand it to you then after they show the winning numbers you throw said ticket away..So simple tiggs can figure it out..Dig??.. Bait ,to hook on a fishing line and lure fish to take it so the can catch a fish..Case closed..

I'm cracking up myself LOL!!!! But I just like buying the ticket, seeing the ticket, feeling the ticket, smelling the ticket LOL!!!! I like to see what I'm getting LOL!!!!! I even like hearing the machine print my ticket out LOL!!!!

The very next ticket could have easily been 50 numbers from your last ticket when the machine is printing your tickets other machines are also printing tickets there is a possibility you won't get sequential ticket numbers.

I also try to buy mistake tickets as well just in case--however some times when I've gone to a lottery store and the machine for some reason isn't working, I assume it might be just fate or lottery karma that would not allow me to buy the ticket at that particular store, at that particular time and therefore force me to go to another store to try my luck or it could have been the other way around and I totally missed out buying THE winning ticket--You never know and like I said before--IT'S JUST

It is possible that they saw that you did not have a lot of experience in scratch offs. My experience is that the machine automatically prints out a ticket showing the amount won. If a clerk see that you are not paying attention, the clerk could drop the ticket on the floor, then pay you the smaller amount just to get you out of the store.

I did read the ticket and thought it was $20.00 but think maybe I just missed a multiplier. The thing that got me was when she asked if I knew how much I had won. No logical reason for a clerk to ask that unless the ticket. The machine should show what the ticket is worth. Oh well, yes, I need to double and maybe triple check my tickets.

The machine does all the work for you..You should know what you won by looking on the ticket and if not take it to the lottery hdg's even if it's a hundred miles away..Read your ticket,you should know..

I played a cash 5 out there and my sister who lives in Surprise Az bought it for me..It hit for 500.00..She said when she cashed the ticket music came out of the machine and sang I'm in the money ..I gave her 100.00 of my winnings..She has no luck at all out there but when I win she wins and when she wins I win..I know she will have a raffle ticket going..You only need one to win so good luck..

Stack47..THANK YOU..But I'll bet someone will come back and tell you your wrong..If the machine says you have to pay taxes you pay taxes as simple as that..I hit a 719.00 tri at the off track betting place I go to and when they cashed my ticket it said I had to pay tax on it and I did..They would not cash the ticket unless I made out the SS form..I think some of these people on this site try to be smart and instead they show they are not..Thank you for explaining it in a simple manner and hope t
