Where is your favorite spots for purchasing lottery tickets?
I used to always get my tics at the Tom Thumb grocery store. It is a little closer to home, but it got to be a hassle. The vending machine wouldn't work, or there is always just one person working at the service desk, and no one else in the whole store can go back there. I got fed up. So now I go to a little gas station/convenience store up the road. I used to get my tics there a few years ago, I just like it better there. The owners are the ones that are there, and they are always friendly. We'

Idaho Has a New Draw Game
When they came out with Weekly Grand I told them I might play if the draw was Monday and Thursday when there are no other draws. They told me most of the players prefer drawings all on the same night for convenience, which doesn't make sense to me.
I've found them to be very unresponsive. Even when I've had ongoing problems with a certain vending machine they tend to just blow it off.

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I've always received the cash value on ticket prizes as they recognize me already. I know my local Safeway or Vons in So Cal always give the cash value as they only sell via a vending machine. At the store I visit, there is a lady that plays about 1200-1500 per week and plays everything. This past week, she hit 5/5 with the bulls eye on the hot spot for $950. Since she plays so much and the owners know her, she gets the $950 cash money. I spent about $30 in scratchers the last 2 days and my retu

Usually when I play at CVS and or other grocery stores with vending machines they give me cash for the vending machine . At a 7-11 I went to turn in a CB ticket. They didn't have anymore CB tickets. I was stuck getting $10.00 worth of tickets from games that I don't like. The clerk got upset because it took me so long. Sorry I study the odds of certain scratcher games and ignore the rest. Now I know not to turn tickets in at 7-11 unless I am sure they have a scratcher game I want.

you cant cash out if you scratch off the code?
No way! Seriously?
The validation code on the front is how you check them here, and it's how you can use your winnings as a credit in a vending machine. I always scratch the front code no matter where I'm cashing it as a favor to the cashier so they won't have to scratch it.

Post your scratch ticket results
I bought $10 worth of 5 card cash and 1 $5 Monopoly (#34) and 1 $5 Big Cash Multiplier. On the instant portion I got dealt a straight (2345A) for $25, and a pair of Queens which wins a free ticket. Then I went to Safeway and got a $3 I Love Crossword and a $1 King's Cash ticket. I always try to take the losing tickets discarded by vending machines and today I noticed several stacked on top of the machine. One was a $10 winner on a $5 Double Take ticket. It was weird that the person didn't see it

Interesting day today. Plese forgive the length of this post.
Back in Westminster to another smokefilled Vietnamese cafe/coffee shop. If they have scratchers, they'll probably be found in a vending machine, and that's what I wanted to play today. Kinda went off the deep end. Initially bought 11 5MJP tickets, went home as I usually do, and scratched them off.
Sucked. Only 3 (20, ticket, and 50) winners out of 11 tickets. Entered the losers on second chance and was looking at the numbers an

Wow, CVS pharmacy. Sounds like a vending machine win.
Been looking for $1MF today. They are hard to find. Out of 10 places I visited, only one had any. One liquor store owner I talked with said you can't reorder them now, that everything is out there. 6 months to claim a prize after the game officially ends.

Got 1 $5M JP from a Ralph's vending machine. $100 winner: 20X $5.
Don't usually buy there, as there are lots of chasers. But this game does not really favor chasers anyway. Worked out OK this time.
