N.J. Lottery retailer says $221M Powerball winner is bus driver who spends $60 a day on tickets
That's the way the US lotteries work.. Hype up the expected value of an annuity that you could buy with the cash on hand value to get public interest.. and then tax it as the annuity is paid out..
OR
Take the actual cash on hand and tax that.. leaving, as in this case, US$55m (and maybe less if that is just counting the federal withholding tax)
Meanwhile, current EuroMillions is at about US$186.3m. An American winning that would have to pay about US$69m.. leaving only US$117.3m (Fede

How do you deal with lottery losses?
One other thing to keep in mind about dreams.
Not all dreams are about lottery numbers. (Figured I need to clarify that since there was a post on someone talking to the dead in a dream)
Messages in dreams can take on many forms. And mean many different things.
Sr San's dreams may be telling him to play bingo at the nearest Catholic church, or poker. Or could be giving him the number to gamblers anonymous.
We may never know

Accusations of "disturbing" new claims procedures after Allwyn sends investigator to winner's home
@ Artist77,
What would exactly be the claiming procedure in a US Anonymous State, for example, SC or GA, should one hit the big one, especially, if, one were to approach their State's Lottery HQ through a Lawyer representing a Trust, PMA, or LLC?
In light of these events with Allwyn, and, seeing responses after this article, and, also taking into account outside factors, such as, current political climate in the UK, THERE, and perhaps reaching its way HERE because of OURS, it brings al

Merry Christmas
Shepherds in the region where Jesus was born, which is believed to be in Bethlehem, would typically have their sheep in the fields during the spring and summer months, not in December . The biblical account of the nativity in the Gospel of Luke mentions that shepherds were in the fields at night when they received the angelic announcement of Jesus' birth. This suggests a warmer time of year, rather than the winter month of December.
The tradition of celebrating Christmas on December 25th lik

$1.35 billion Mega Millions lottery winner suing mother of his child for revealing win to family
Anyone else see the irony of wanting to be anonymous and then publicly suing someone you told that you won?
He has to prove in a court in a state with broad rights to access public records that his ex-wife harmed him by revealing he won a very large lottery prize to his family.
Named only as John Doe in the lawsuit
Wonder what will happen with she is asked on the witness stand if she signed an NDA with John Doe and she says NO . How can he prove she violated an NDA with his real na

New York- Numbers
I disagree. Many times people getting downvoted are spammers (they are selling something and using Lottery Post as free advertising). Or maybe they have a history of trolling (purposely starting fights and chaos). Whereas people known for sharing and spreading positivity are consistently upvoted. Good ideas and positive thoughts are upvoted consistently.
Of course there will always be a small number of people who try to abuse useful systems like the voting buttons, but their existence does n

Michigan bill may allow lottery winners of multi-state games to remain anonymous
while others say that lottery winners should accept the risk that comes with buying a ticket for the sake of preserving the game's integrity.
Now that's a red flag!
More like for the sake of the scammer whoever said that so that they can know who to attack.
These Bozos are trying to have it both ways and are a bunch of schizos.
Either make Michigan totally anonymous or revoke it for state games too!
You can't make the integrity argument when in late 1988 or early 1989 M

Bummer...
Was it Spandex draws cousin?
No secret the probability Spandex Draws uses is, This number will probably hit. This one probably won't.
Also no secret if anyone gave him the winning numbers he'd say, Buy me a ticket.
And when he realized those numbers won, he'd be screaming, Bring me my ticket!
Just strange how we can get a discussion on Gail Howard started, and nay, not one person will engage him on Lotto Pro.
(I think the ten people who negged his post are Lotto Pro users

I have a couple of good reasons a Lottery Winner wouldn't want to sign a Winning Lottery ticket. &#
This is my take on the Lottery Post video questioning the Sign your Lottery ticket! Mantra that is prevalent in virtually all of the Good advice, when winning the Lottery. They brought up valid points. I personally would like to add a couple of reasons that wasn't mentioned in the video.
One reason a Lottery Winner wouldn't want to sign his or her winning ticket is that they are an Illegal Immigrant and fear deportation if they sign the winning Lottery ticket. A few Illegal Immigrants ha
