Lets see I can spend $15 to be guaranteed a $1 return. I am not desperate enough for a win to pay out $15 for $1. I don't play for small jackpots anyway if I win something great but I am only in for the jackpot.

...players who actually managed to get 5 numbers out of the 6 right in the latest Lotto draw (12/10/13), which will probably never happen to them again. Maybe I should congratulate them on winning 656. But if anyone calls that any kind of compensation , they must be unaware of what these players would've won had they played Lotto Hotpicks instead. For exactly the same result, 5 numbers out of 6, you get 130.000. Slight difference there. Never mind that the chances of winning that are also 7 time

lol I agree it is definitely refreshing.....I've always wondered why MM and PB had such 90s websites. They have all these big jackpots and popularity, and frankly the sites were not taking advantage of this. Maybe most people just visit to check the results but I like reading some of the stories

Mega Millions definitely needed to do something in order to get ticket sales/jackpot amounts back to where they should be. I love the fact that the lotteries are trying a different approach than they did for Powerball, because it offers a great way to compare. Do higher ticket prices generate bigger jackpots? Or will making people happy with the same low ticket price do the trick? Let's see what the result is a year from now!

I will be buying one ticket just to stay in the hunt and then when the jackpots grow larger I will add accordingly. I will just be picking favorite numbers since there will be no statistics in the beginning.

Only one I know of is Joan Ginther, and only one of her wins was a lottery drawing. The rest were scratch off jackpots.

I sincerely hope to break some records and win more than one Jackpot. Can anyone tell me if there has been multiple jackpot winners? The key here is Jackpot . Not I won the lottery 7 times like Lustig claims in which NONE were Jackpots

Yeah. It didn't make much sense for me to keep playing. I knew it was an RNG game and still liked it. I liked it because it felt like a 6/49 game that had jackpots growing faster after a certain level of jp. Now I don't like it.
