New Mexico Lottery was advertising the wrong Pick 4 payouts and odds
I saw your article about the programming glitch where doubles couldn't be drawn. I went to the commision and was re-imbursed. I saw the sign that the change was in effect for March 13. I told them it would hurt the sales.
They were paying $28 for bp,fp, because I collected and so did others. They are now calling it another one of their programming errors. Baloney!
Many states pay $25 to $50 bucks for fp,bp. I even read that Texas pays $50 for fp,bp,and the middle pair. This is smart becaus

$273M Mega Millions jackpot winner from NJ says he initially forgot the lottery ticket at the store
Oh really?
According to a statement from the commission, the winner confided in how unlikely the win was that he (or she) had let a fellow customer buy a Quick Pick Mega Millions lottery ticket ahead of him in line the day he made his own lottery ticket purchase at the KC Mart in Simpsonville.
Bet the fellow customer he let go ahead of him knows the identity.
You probably only read the LP article and though it doesn't mention age or job, there are several other articles including one wh

$273M Mega Millions jackpot winner from NJ says he initially forgot the lottery ticket at the store
Good question about claiming trusts and claiming LLCs in New Jersey. Their lottery website offers almost no information, but I did find this in a news article from 2018:
The New Jersey Lottery is compelled to release the name of the person or organization that filed the claim as well as the town and retailer where the ticket was sold, according to spokeswoman Mary Ann Rivell.
Rivell said she can only remember one instance in her years at the lottery of a person forming an LLC before arrivi

This is interesting perspective. I don t know about scanning the ticket after the first ball is drawn, if I am understanding correctly, but there s at least 10 minutes after the draw where the machine will say results not in . I can understand what you mean by anomalies, but even still this has been discussed before, most people conclude that there s just no way to say that this should happen or shouldn t happen with 100% certainty, because really it s normal for anything to really happen at any

Winner of $1.5 billion Mega Millions jackpot has come forward
Bleudog101,
You have me curious about your definition of 'anonymous'.

mikeintexas,
Your 'reversed Gloria 'comments made me think of the old joke about the wrestlers and the 'pretzel hold'.

joshuacloak,
Agree totally on the socialism aspect. When I read the article I was thinking of a 'socialist' like Bernie got elected (the socialist with three huge houses) there'd probably be no point in winning a jackpot.

For all the cash vs annuity discussions that are on LP, has this ever came up?
Annuity, cons;
Cons: But there are risks. It s possible that the entity making the payout over the 30 years could run out of money

An Interesting Raffle Question
Before we get to the raffle and question, we need to do a little back story on where this is originating.
We were reading a Lottery Post News article: Florida lottery to roll out new game and some of the posted replies.
In the article, there were some posted replies that brought up odds of winning in a raffle.
Now, going forward, we'd like to be sure that we are not trying to embarrass or pick on anyone by referencing the posts.
All were looking to do is pose a question that helps gi

Brooklyn truck driver quits job, comes forward as $298M Powerball winner
You just ask for a $5 Power Pack and get all three in one shot instead of asking for one of each separately.
Interesting. Any chance it's actually printed as a single ($5) ticket, or is it just a short cut to print all 3 tickets? I saw an article that specifically said that buying one of each is his usual routine, but nothing about a power pack .
The original Bullit was a Ford Mustang.
The car he was chasing was a charger, so maybe that's what Soledad means. I appreciate the mu

California man learns $10 million reason not to tell your roommate if you win the lottery
According to Google, it originated in 1888, an ornament that dangles.
In my latest Fortune magazine an interesting article where in Sweden many residents having a microchip placed under their skin on one hand. This unlocks doors, does passwords, etc, for you. In Paris the guy was getting into his hotel room with one of those cards that you do not insert into a lock. Guy with him said give me 5' and I'll decode and get in too...and he did. Scary times.

The Confederate soldier's hanging was by Ambrose Bierce and the computer was 'Agnes'. Did Serling have a mind and vision or what?
From a search for Ambrose Bierce;
An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge (1890) is a short story by the American writer and Civil War veteran Ambrose Bierce. Regarded as one of the most famous and frequently anthologized stories in American literature , it was originally published by The San Francisco Examiner on July 13, 1890, and was first collected in Bierce's bo
