$500 MILLION: Mega Millions sets all-time lottery jackpot record
If you want to pool with other people, then fine. Just do it with people you personally know, and have a good agreement in place (in writing). DON'T try to do it online. Very bad idea.

$500 MILLION: Mega Millions sets all-time lottery jackpot record
Joining a lottery pool would increase my odds right? not increase my odds alot but still. And I don't mind sharing my money with people. Considering that I am broke now just 1 million would be fine with me, it would be more then I could ever make working.

476M for Mega Million!
What are your thoughts? Visions of sugarplums luxury dance in my head. Are you guys increasing bets for Friday? Will likely throw $20 at it, the same as for last night's drawing. Changing strategy? Last time I just chose quick picks because I didn't happen to have my MM cards with me when I had time to stop for tickets, but this time I plan to use my own favorite numbers. Not that I think it will really make any difference in the chances that I hold a winning ticket. But I would be kicking

Predictions for tmw's draw... how many jackpot winners and how many 5 of 5 winners??
2 - Seems like there is always somebody from NY that is a big winner. I'm guessing that a group lottery pool of workers will have one of the winning tickets, and somebody's grandparents will have the other. And they all will discover needy friends and relatives they never knew they had

Stores on Georgia State line crowded. Brought 300 tickets for Tuesdays drawing.
no matter how large a jp is I believe buying more than 5 tickets is a waist.people buying hundreds of dollars on tickets for one draw are just crazy. if its a pool then I understand but one person spending that much is stupid.

Rule regarding multiple winners
In California there is possibility to claim jackpot win with multiple ownership claim form up to 100 participants inside one lottery pool. Verbal agreement will do if ticket purchaser is a honest person. No written agreement will change that fact. Persons with integrity (often immigrants or low income bracket type will qualify ?) It is the banker class that may run away, correction will run away with group play money, if anyone.
