All the States learned from PB that higher jackpots attract more players who are willing to pay double. Two dollar games will become a epidemic across the US. Even my neighbor who buys 4 tickets a year could'nt resist the big PB jackpot.

I love the way they word these price increases. They make it appear like as if they are doing players a favor while they know it's all b.s. I would rather they just come out and say Effective July 14, 2013 the ticket price of Illinois Lotto doubles. There shall be drawings on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Average jackpots shall be higher because it will cost you double what it costs you now. Have a nice day!

Have Been laying low for a couple of weeks. Playing very little. Too Many Jackpots claimed. Someone has to buy the duds. BTW The New monopoly $10 game is a second chance game starting on July 2nd, no wonder it stinks. Around were I frequent there is absolutley nothing happening. Then compare that with the ratio of Caucasian Americans versus minorities winning jackpots and see how it stacks. If you can argue mathematically from the statistics that Caucasians win more jackpots relatively then you can launch a legitimate discussion in this regard.
