Arkansas Lottery director scolded by legislators
Isn't this the same guy who just gave himself and his cronies big bonuses for doing a good job getting the lottery up and running last year?
It'll be interesting to see now if he'll give himself and his cronies a pay cut for doing a bad job according to the Legislative Audit Committee.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict if he'll give himself a pay cut...
Uh...
Uh...
No.

Can someone explain to me what´s going on in Italy: Lotto Slavery?
If they had other lottos paying: 10 million, 20 million, 30 million, 40 million and they had the Pick6/90 paying: 100 million then i might/will had said anything, but it looks like is the ONLY one they got...
I think Italy ( i dont know i ve never been to italy) has just like the USA: a Pick6 that pays like less than 5 million, pick4 s and Pick6/90 Superenalotto and pick5...That s it...And is not enough...
they need more: $20 million, 30 million, 40 million lottos several of them...If the

N.Y. couple wins $162M lottery jackpot - but owes $1M
A Long Island couple will step forward Thursday to claim a $162 million jackpot, but Suffolk County already has their hands in winners' pockets.
County officials say Richard and Mary Morrison owe $950,000 stemming from an audit of a homeless shelter they ran for 20 years. The audit showed the couple doled out bonuses to themselves, billed the county for benefits they later pocketed and bought big-screen televisions.
An judgment against the couple was filed in 2008.

Ohio Lottery opposes state audit
One state which desperately needs a full audit, including undercover sting operations performed on retailers, is New York. There was a TV news program which covered undercover stings on retailers in California. A few, not many, retail clerks would check a ticket. Sometimes if the ticket was a winning ticket, the clerk would say it was not a winner and keep the ticket, cashing it later. California has stiff penalties for such acts of fraud. When caught, the clerks are arrested and the retailer wo

Can I get some help with online lottery tax info
Should I report $31 as gambling winnings, deduct $10 for the losingtickets on schedule A and pay tax on $21 when I only won $13?
This goes back to the point I was making in my last post. You seem to be having trouble accounting for the deductible losses. In your previous post you referred to deducting $800 when the actual losses were $2000, and you've done that again here. If you bought 9 tickets at $2 each, you've got $18 in deductions, not $10. Deduct that from the $31 in winnings, and yo

Sopranos' Vinny Vella fumes over $5M lotto misprint
Sis and I had a 5 million dollar winning instant lifetime riches game 540 NJ ticket Aug 2006 at QuickCheck. We did not secure it. It wound up in the hands of our township and was cashed in by those to whom we turned for help. The police refused to take a lost ticket report unless we could positively say it was stolen and not AWOL. We at first believed it had been found on our property instead of in our property. Some one had been stalking us. We spent two years trying to reclaim it. we even had
