CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Nabbed another $100 on $5M JP, ticket #04, $50 Fast Spot plus $50 single match. Single buy from bin. Of course, also lost $20 on a bunch of crossword/bingo, all 6 were losers, 1 of each from vending machine. So came away only up $60...figures.

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Finally got a $100 on $5M JP, ticket #15, single match. Just bought 1 from a vending machine when I got some chicken and hummus for lunch. So far still got good 47% hit ratio and decent 74% prize ratio on the game, all single buys.

It seems like I have to continue to fight the urge to buy scratch tickets
Hi HoLeeKau, That's great that you don't get tempted when you buy from a clerk. I can understand your dilemna about not having 1 dollar bills when using a vending machine and then feel it just has to be used up due to not being able to get change.

Playing every ticket from a machine.
Our vending machines here in North Carolina look almost exactly like this, very modern and gleaming with bright colors... I love buying from vending machines because I don't have to get in any conversation with a cashier when I buy. I also avoid the acquard looks when I spend $60-$100 on scratch offs. The tickets are sold in reverse, from the highest number to the lowest number so if you catch a freshly loaded machine, you can purchase the last tickets in a roll and I've found they are often

saving 20 dollar scratchcards to scatch on a rainy day.
LOL, your so right. I was buying 3 scratchers the other day $1 each from the vending machine and i noticed a couple old guys sitting down at the tables as soon as i got my tickets they stood up and bought $20 worth of the same tickets LOL! I found it funny and annoying at the same time... I ended up winning $7 of 3 tickets... Gotta beware of the them dirty hawks!!

Okay, I just saw this today, but I went to a store that does just that, to prove a point to the a$$hat that said certain ticket numbers being winners (the numbered ones I believe to be hotspots for winners) was not true. I went to a vending machine, bought a 100x The Money ticket, it was 001, realized it was counting down so I bit the bullet and bought another for a ticket #000. I scratched off #001 (which sometimes it is a $1000 winner) but it was a loser. I very confidently scratched off #000

Havent been to the Hess station in a while and stopped to fill up today. big news was a $5K winner on a $1 ticket 5X The Money and THREE $500 winners off a single GRT roll last week. they also put in a vending machine. And here is the best part: they chart down all winners of $50 plus and what ticket # they hit on. all the $20 games had just hit $50, $100 or $200 except BDB and it was on #044 going up. I picked up 2 and won $50 on the second. I might be playing more here. they keep track of ever

what is your lottery pet peeves??
I think being inconsiderate may be in vogue and stylish these days. I was trying to get tickets at a lottery vending machine and a vendor at the cooler and the clerk were shouting a conversation at each other... They were making sure they could hear each other clearly while customers were holding their ears.....
