Powerball multi-state lottery to raise prices, jackpots
I play PB in an office pool, in which I do the collection of money and buying of the tickets. We tend to play when the JP gets above 100 million.
We've always bought the PowerPlay, so we each chip in $2.00. I suggested we buy the PowerPlay simply because I was scared to death we'd hit 5 numbers without having bought the PP, and I sure didnt want to disappoint those guys by telling them we won $200,000 when for one lousy dollar more we could of had $1,000,000. I'm sure there's been more than o

Ohio's New Year's Raffle
In the past when the Ohio Lottery didn't sell all the tickets, they still held the drawing on the advertised date and paid out the full prize list. Unlike some other state lotteries that extend the drawing date and/or lowered prize pool.

$11M lottery win saves Illinois couple from bankruptcy
Dont be upset Mark/Lukep that you havent won and some people are winning. Its supposed to be that way, one winner and one million losers. I agree with you the part of the government taking a huge chunk of the pool money and further taxing the jp after someone has won. Thats just greed.

Fantasy 5 for California predictions
Good Luck! I'm already in play for the next 3 draws since yesterday, and I'm leaning on a 6-29-36 trio, as well as the 13-24 pair within a pool of 12 numbers. There is a lot of validity to checking the history of the game ... btw if you check back you'll see that 11 29 play together a lot so you might want to play both as a 2-key wheel.

Fantasy 5 for California predictions
I know the feeling all too well, that's because it would take way too many games for the numbers to come together. Especially a draw like this: Winning Numbers 8 16 20 24 27 with 3 of the numbers in the 20's group. You need to try a key number wheel once the pool of numbers is more than 12-15 numbers.

more luck in state lottery or mm or pb winning 5 + 0
State lottos generally have a smaller pool of numbers (In California, SuperLotto is 1-47 vs Mega Millions' 1-56) so odds are better. Of course, I'd rather win a 5+0 in MM which is usually at least a 6 figure jackpot

Asset managers accused of fronting for real $254M Powerball winner
IMHO, the theory of these 3 guys fronting for the real winner is very plausible.
I'm curious as to wether or not the real winner initially approached them (as professional money managers) to manage his newly gained wealth for him/her, and did they subsequently float the idea to the real winner for them pose as the winners?
Because it took approximately one month for them to surface, I don't believe these three professional money managers didn't discuss amongst themselves, the subject of th
