Now that almost every State has both, they would be better off combining mm pb and playing them the same 4 days. The jackpots could start high enough to attract more players and rise faster to spark a frenzy. It's the only way i could see justifying 75 numbers. LOL, Maddogs challenge will be impossible now.

Huge jackpots are the big draw. No doubt about that. But higher odds only ensures that NO ONE will win for a very long time. Have players pay more AND offering a shared jackpot (for a price) would solve both issues.

It will only work to make jackpots larger if people keep playing. When average amount players realize they CANNOT really win, they will sit on the siedlines and wait. So yes the jackpot will grow, however it will take longer to get there because fewer people will be playing early in the game...

Raising the odds without raising the price is just plain stupid. If they want to increase revenue they should offer shared jackpots. For a price.

Im not sure my self but Ive been buying at least two sometimes three tickets a draw since it had hit 100 million....Megamillions I was buying at least one or two tickets a draw sometimes 3....I had no idea how much I spent on the two...I guess it's better I dont know LOL...but how about you....How much did you spend trying to win these two huge jackpots??

Earlier today I took a look at the Tx lottery site and one of the jackpot games is being won lately with non quickpicks, so people might not be posting their systems or they might be, but quick picks are no longer winning all of the jackpots on all of the games.

Only $464 million in tickets sold, that's lower than the drawing in November ($563 million, without California) and the Mega ($651 million from $1 tickets) from last year. I think the novelty of $400 million+ jackpots is wearing thin. There was a 26.56% chance of a rollover last night, so a billion dollar jackpot could happen still.

In Texas, you choose cash or annuity at time of purchase. They also have limited publicity, which I am not 100% on details, but the lottery publishes a lot of trust names claiming jackpots and no publicity photo. I read that it takes 4 days to wire funds to your account after the lottery folks have collected from the other states.
