Anyone here ever read any Kurt Vonnegut Jr books?
He often included passages in his novels like, That moment in time was just structured that way......it will always be structured that way...
Kind of similar to the old Twilight Zone episode where the guy went back in time and tried to stop the Lincoln assassination, but he couldn't....
Considering the OP by justxploring:

I Won A $86Million Annuity
Louie, he knows how old he is because EZ says so in the post. Check the first link that h8registration posted.
Hmmph... EZ actually sounded like a cool dude in that post... I think if his post came off like that, people wouldn't be so skeptical.
A lot of people say the wouldn't come to the LP to say they won. I wish they would though. I would... When can you say that you've ever actually talked to a jackpot winner? Like another poster said, I'd pick his brain to help fuel my what if daydre

$196M Ohio lottery winner trying to claim anonymously?
The winner of the $196 million Mega Millions winning ticket sold in Ohio last week hasn't stepped forward yet, but there are indications that he or she might want to remain anonymous.
Ohio Lottery spokeswoman Jeannie Roberts said Thursday that the lottery has received inquiries about how to claim the prize through a blind trust. Having a lawyer set up such a trust would shield the winner's name from public release.
But Roberts cautioned that the winning ticket has not yet been produced, an

Why is it beneficial to collect a lottery jackpot as a LLC?
Thanks, pigsNtrees, but I don't think that is really an option for me right now.
The rules read:
Can I remain anonymous when I claim my lottery winnings?
No. Winners often ask if they can claim Lottery prizes anonymously. Virginia state law stipulates that a person must claim a prize; winners cannot claim a Virginia Lottery prize with a limited liability company or a trust, for example. In addition, the claimant s name, hometown and prize are public record and are released t

List of States Which Allow Anonymous Winners
Not sure if this covers Illinois or Georgia, but on WGN-TV (Chicago) news last night they showed winners from December just showing up now to claim their jackpot.
The cjeck was made out to a trust JVS family or something or other, and one woman, wearing large lensed sunglasses showed up to claim it, or she is one of the trust who accepted the check.
A spokeswoman for the lottery presented the check and kind of danced around who JVS was.
On the news they explained that this was all ok a

List of States Which Allow Anonymous Winners
Washington - No (email)
Thank you for your inquiry to Washington s Lottery. We appreciate the opportunity to provide you with information we hope you will find useful.
State law provides the Lottery to publish the name, city of residence and prize of Lottery winners. Winners can claim through creating a trust, but the documents of the trust, which must contain the natural persons behind the trust, are public records. The media are well aware of this fact. In other words, there are no absol

Rule #1 For Winners
Interesting point of view. I had an Australian pen pal many years ago and he once sent me information about their lottery. I thought The Pools game they had sounded like something that would do well here. The numbers were somehow determined based on the results of Australian football games. That would probably be a hit in the U.S.
I think the lack of anonymity in U.S. lotteries is because people want to know if someone actually won. If anonymity were allowed here, they could say someone wo

Rule #1 For Winners
Well since I happen to be a financial services representative, I would do it this way if I were to win a nice jackpot lottery prize:
1) Rent a PO box at the post office;
2) Establish a trust (with wording that does not reveal my last name) through my legal team
3) Once trust is established, go to lottery headquarters to represent my client as the financial representative.
4) Client (me) will provide a written statement that again will not reveal my identity.
This will allow me to

Tenn. lawmakers trying to force lottery to switch back to real draws
I, for one, am pleased to find there are a few honest elected officials within our state government. These people have the best interests of all Tennesseans in the forefront of their minds. Thanks for your efforts in bringing back the balls.
I always said, beginning the moment Steve Cohen introduced legislation to bring a lottory to Tennessee, that Tennessee will get a lottory the moment policticians find a way to skim money from it. Once we got the lottory I have waited for the s
