Do some number combinations have better odds?
There are thousands of lottery terminals in every state and 44 states and jurisdictions are selling MM and PB QPs to millions of players, but I can't remember the last time (excluding the record jackpots) when there was more than one jackpot winning QP. Should we rely on luck by being in the right state, in the right city or town, in the right store, at the right time or should we try to get lucky by picking the numbers?

Do we lottery players have any rights in game changes?
I'm with you on this one maringoman. Despite the fact that Hot Lotto is an RNG game, which I tend to not completely trust, I have always done well under the current format winning in about 1 in 10 lines where the average odds of winning any prize are 1 in 16.1. I don't get how the overall odds will only go up to 1:17.2 when they're adding 8 white balls. Are they reducing the number of hot balls down from 19???
Anyways living in Mass do you play Lucky for Life at all? The odds of hitting

Lottery Systems Review
But the problem is most players think a good system should regularly win jackpots rather than give them the information to produce their best chance for winning a jackpot. I suspect even if someone ever developed such a system, they would be more interested in winning a jackpot than selling it.

Welfare lottery ban
When they sign up for food stamps and welfare and all the other free stuff, they should make them sign a contract that they will never play the lottery or benefit from the lottery in anyway while they are receiving benefits from the taxpayers or for 2 years after benefits stop. And any large jackpots won after that go to paying back any benefits ever received before they get what's left.

Biggest lottery game ever in the works?
Sounds interesting. A national scratch game sounds great. For $5 if all it offers is bigger jackpots in a MM style, then no thanks. Odds on the big games are steep, give me something unique for my money.

Will Powerball rollover?
RJOh, you are correct. The current Powerball cash jackpot of $63.5 million is actually $0.5 million OVERfunded, based on expected sales of $36 million for Saturday (in addition to its actual total sales of $164 million for its first six jackpots in the current run), but they need to deduct a percentage of sales at times from the jackpot in order to replenish their set prize/guaranteed jackpot cash reserve. If nobody wins Saturday, Wednesday's advertised jackpot will probably still increase by on

First to 100 million
You know folks, I'm expecting someone to surface and say they still think it will be Mega Millions to get to $100M first, and I'm waiting for that same person to insist that QPs don't win most of the jackpots.

Millions in lottery winnings go unclaimed each year
Florida seems to have a lot of unclaimed tickets. I think it's because of all the tourists. Many of them are large jackpots too.

Psychic quits job after winning the lottery
I can't help wondering, why,if she is so good at predicting, did she predict the numbers of such a small jackpot. Why didn't she predict the numbers of one those HUGE jackpots that are fairly common in jackpot games these days?

Take5 NY
CajunWin4 part of the problem is that you post too many lines for the average player. Keep in mind that most players not only play Take 5 but Pick-3 and Pick4 and also the better Jackpots. So if one was to play your lines daily, it would be too cost prohibitive. That being said. Kudos to you for getting 4 of 5 right! Congrat!
