At least two charged in scheme to manipulate Connecticut Lottery game
Looks like Vikas Pravnav Smith are in hot water. I'm sure the lottery can revoke their ability to sell lottery tickets, but what crime did they commit? They took advantage of a flaw in the system to cancel tickets that were losers. Did the state legislature actually write a law making that illegal? I'm going to take a leap of faith and assume that the lottery didn't even think it was possible to find out whether a ticket was a winner or loser before it was issued. They didn't cancel t

Offshore gambling site laundered $2 million in Amazon gift cards, Feds say
U said This must be the most naive statement I have ever heard. U think the Feds and cops do same thing? I don't think u know the difference between $hit and ur oatmeal. And what about this statement by some idiot who made a fool out of himself through and through during STD? I believe ur the reason why Sully started the STD challenge. Yes. I am the hottest predictor. NOBODY can dethrone me!!! Just try it!!! Steve Player is a termite I P--S on!!! Just try and beat me!! My algorithm is

French lottery 'winner' went on huge spending spree only to realize she had wrong number
A Frenchwoman who went on a huge spending spree after winning the Euro Millions lottery was ordered to pay the huge tab back after belatedly discovering that she had got the wrong the number. The 46-year-old, whose identity was not disclosed in the French media, believed she had won a massive jackpot. Within hours, and over the course of three weeks in February and March 2014, she issued a series of checks spending on perfumes, jewellery, clothes and ornaments to celebrate her good fortune.

$63 million California Lottery jackpot expires Thursday
. How can that be, anyway? If someone's in jail, they're not allowed to collect their social security, during that time. So, why would they be able to sue for something like the lotto? Does it have to do with the tickets having been paid for, with 'after-tax' dollars? Nah, couldn't be that, as lotto is a tax itself. And then there's the question about how did the prisoner get a hold of the ticket in question? I don't believe a word of his claim, but let's say he paid for

Lottery veterans question Tennessee family's behavior before claiming Powerball winnings
Exactly as I said. I find all the negative comments to be odd and screaming of envy. Why in the hell would anyone even how a total stranger who won the jackpot spends their money and what decisions they make? They are just mad they did not win it so they trash them. Yet if they were never revealed and did it anonymously those same people would be saying it was rigged and that no one really won it. They are also mad because this goes against all of the conventional wisdom/advice of so-called expe

Florida Lottery Holiday Millionaire Raffle
Additional incentive weekly drawings probably help a bit, but for many players, including myself, that's not overly appealing, since it still involves a delay. Also, a player seeking to spend $20 is mainly interested in hitting a big prize. However, an instant win (via entering code / scanning barcode on lottery website for security reasons) with odds of say 1 in 100 to win $100 instantly for a $20 raffle would be a strong incentive to buy tickets sooner and frequently. Lotteries would do bet

Connecticut Lottery suspends 5 Card Cash sales after retailers found cheating
That's likely it. PA Lottery ages ago offered a terminal game Lucky for Life, which featured a $10 instant win component, which too would trigger a special sound from the terminal. Many players have difficulty with multiplay games, including instant tickets with a separate bonus play area; overlooking that part and tossing in the trash. Fastplay terminal tickets, which many states, such as NJ, offer, come with similar dangers and can be easily gamed by a retailer. All the more reason to play

RL's T-Lex program download, free software
Frenchie All the patch does is copy the new T-Lex.exe file to the C:\T-LEX folder. Make sure that T-lex is not running when you run the patch. IF you have the patch program located inside the C:\T-LEX folder then try moving it to another location, or just place it on your c:\. I can't think of anything else that would not allow it to run unless it's a security program running on your computer. Let me know if this helps, if not I will just upload the new T-lex.exe file which can be

Ex-TSA agent, Atlanta police officer sentenced in lottery scheme
A Douglasville, Ga., man must serve 27 months in prison and one year of supervised release after pleading guilty for his role in a Jamaican-based fraudulent lottery scheme targeting senior-adult victims in the United States. Dominic Hugh Smith, 27, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Robert J. Conrad Jr. of the Western District of North Carolina. Smith was ordered to pay $724,408.79 in restitution, the U.S. Justice Department said in a prepared statement. In June 2014, Smith pleaded
