What's with NY Sweet Million??
I feel that the New york lottery does not get it.I feel that a $1 millions fixed prize for a 6/40 game is a complete rip off.It was supposed to be a 5/40 game, or change the take 5 game to a 5/40 game with a staring jackpot of $500 thousands.
I feel that mega millions is the best game to play regardless of the odds because it offers better prizes for a $1.By the way it is easier to win a 5/56 game than a 6/40 game.I hope you see my point. It is easier to have 5 numbers right to win a jackpot

Are we fooled to believe that there's a system?
Like I've wrote many times in the past, years ago.
There is a system that can beat the game, even if the matrix is made harder to hit by the officials.
It has to be what I coined...a Morphing system, where criteria is changing after every game. And that's where the problem lies for us humans at this point of evolution. The vast amount of tweaking needed to correctly predit the 6 numbers is unattainable to us. It's elusive because not only are there so many variables, but how to interpret t

MI and OH need new games
@classic
A clarification here...I meant the Classic 47 game needs to be replaced with something new.
It could be a 5/44 1/10 game for $2 with $1 going to the 5/44 prizes structure.
A 5/44 match would be an actual jackpot prize split among the winners. The other $1 would go only to a bigger jackpot prize (less the states take of course) with 5/44 + 1/10 taking the second jackpot. That way even if the larger jackpot kept rolling, the smaller jackpot would roll less often and get

What do you prefer
I immediately cast my vote for scratch (rip) offs because the few I did buy years ago made me feel as though I was just exchanging legal tender for worthless paper that dirtied my car (the grey scratch off stuff). Had a few small dollar winners for a string, but I saw those as just a way to rope one into buying yet another scratch off that would be worthless. From time to time, you hear about the person who purchased the big winner using the proceeds of a small dollar winner, but that story has

Lawsuit alleges New York Lottery and Scientific Games infringed trademark
Maybe it's just because I don't know what comprehension skills are, but I think you've suggested that the lottery and SG have actually stolen the plaintiff's game. I can't really be sure, because you don't say what protected property you believe is being used, though the *press release* makes that point clearly:
the Lottery and Scientific Games conspired to use Gameologist's Mark
The lawsuit only claims infringement of their trademark. The trademark is Bling Bling and nothing more. Absen

...another discovery about lottery numbers
The people who run these games aren't stupid they know people will devise many methods to try and win their games. However because they change the ball sets for every drawing how can anyone possible defeat that without having and using that information in their systems.
They change the balls sets to avoid a common occurrence of balls being drawn. If they used the same ball set for every draw then i think it would be possible to possibly trap the numbers once using some system.
How can you

Hello! I'm new here
Welcome Lotto*Love! I'm glad you decided to go from lurker to member -- it's so much more fun that way!!
One of the great things about joining in the discussion is learning about the infinite ways to play each game, whether it's MM, Pick 5, or Pick 3/4 (or anything else your state offers).
Don't get discouraged, just change up your strategy if it's no fun anymore. Maybe even try your hand at a different game for a while.
Try posting some predictions on the predictions board, because it

N.D. Lottery wrestles with credit card buying options
(no I haven't been on LP all day. LOL...working from home and just got back on)
Coin Toss writes: The question about the matrix changing brings up a good point- if the ticket was considered still good, the player's chances are reduced even more. I wonder what would happen in such a situation.
Coin Toss, can you tell me why you think your chances are worse? I realize the odds change when even 1 number is added, but I kept my 6 numbers when FL changed from a 6/49 game to a 6/53 game a

The pyramid system...LOL
Here's an idea I am trying in DE with the pyramid. There are 13 draws a week in DE (2 per day and only 1 on Sunday night). I always use the last week's 13 draws to pick numbers for the next week. Using the 13 draws I make a list of the hottest to coldest digits from the 13 draws. I then make up the pyramid in the 5 row format as pacattack05 shows, but using my number stack. I start the pyramid at the top with my hottest digit and work my way down left to right across with my number stack. I th

Hot Lotto: 3d largest US jackpot
Even though HL is now computerized, this is a game that should be taken seriously. This game should IMO eventually be made available by all MUSL members, even if the game is changed to make it less like Powerball. Changing the name from HL also would be a good idea, as Idaho once had a pick-5 called Hot Lotto .
MUSL of course should continue to push to get all PB participants to join HL, but it should also very soon (say next year) change the double matrix. If MUSL wants to keep it a mini-Po
