The Challenge Poll
Curious to see how all react. Some people for whatever reason have opinons but do not wish to share them publicly.

Another CASH vs ANNUITY poll
Some lottery winners STILL are forced to receive annuity payments if they win (ie, Mass. 6/42 and 6/49; various scratch games in NY and Mass., and probably in some other states.)Do you believe all games with annuity prizes (other than lifetime prizes) should allow the winner to collect in LUMP SUM within 60 days of the ticket's validation?

OK, Here it is
Todd,Congratulations on Lottery Post Version 2.5. It is very user friendly and seems to load up faster if that's possible! I like the new set up. The million dollar question is I wonder if Cash Only will be the first one to use the New Poll icon ....Could it be Cash or Annuity as the first poll? Thanks for all your effort and time in keeping this the number one lottery forum on the net....

Wisconsin SuperCash $$
Don't worry, that poll is hardly scientific. It only samples a small select group and not every players club member even responded I'm sure. The true test is ticket sales and SC no doubt has a loyal fan base. The WI lottery isn't going to get rid of SC based on a flawed poll. The only poll they use for decision making is the one where the customer hands over some good ol' American greenbacks. If SC wasn't a good performer they would have flushed it years ago. I wouldn't worry at all.

British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
Poll: Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 14 points nationally: Hillary Clinton has opened up a 14-percentage-point lead against Donald Trump nationally, according to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Monday. The survey found that in a two-way race between the two nominees, Clinton leads Trump 52 percent to 38 percent, up from a 7-percentage-point lead last month. In a four-way race involving third-party candidates, Clinton leads Trump by 11 percentage points -- 46 percent

Why is the Ohio Classic Lotto so difficult to win?
My personal belief is with liquidity (not enough players per drawing) vs the odds of a winning ticket. Most drawings see an increase of 100k to 300k in prize poll. I do not know the formula used for ticket purchased to increase prize poll but let's say it's 5 to 1 for every 5 ticket solds will add $1 to the prize poll. 5x300k = 1.5 tickets sold for the drawing. If all are unique and non repeats then there are about 12 million that can be drawn that no one has. If we increase the ticket sells to

How often do you get a 5-hit when playing your 6/49 lottery?
Just curious about the 5-hit wins achieved over the long run. The question assumes any playing strategy, including quick picks, simple tickets or small wheels (playing with more numbers) or even random combinations. For the poll, any playing strategy up to 20-30 tickets maximum is considered acceptable, however winning via lottery pools is not considered for this poll. The aim is to identify how often players achieve a 5-hit on a 6/49 game by playing their strategy which is affordable to most of

After the big win (5 million or more)
Ridge Runner I have enjoyed reading your posts over the years and believe you to be a good person who happens to enjoy a little Jack Daniels now and then. That being said sometimes there is no arguing with fools. When I posted the poll I did not take in account that not everyone believes in God. Thats fine by me, my whole reason for posting the poll was to see what is the FIRST thing you would do after a jackpot win. LUMINUS don't take life to seriously Its fine by me that you don't believe in a

Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
VisionDude, You are a wise man. I wish I had your self control. Since posting here, I'm catching up with my wife in $ per week spent on the lottery. You might find my Poll in the Lottery Systems Forum of interest. It's called PA Daily Number (evening), I think. I should have included Poll in the name; might have gotten more response. In any event, if you enter the Poll and stay tuned to the thread and it's references, you will soon learn why I called you a wise man. --Jimmy

Do you believe in "lucky" stores?
When I post a poll it is not necessarily because I am advocating for one position or the other. I used the terminology lucky store because that is what people tend to call stores that do that whole mantra of natural occurrence thing that you brought up. Unfortunately, you cannot use all those words for a question on the poll, so I just used lucky . That does not mean that I am a believer in nor a proponent of lucky stores . The poll was only to measure popular opinion on the topic, not
