Manage your winnings or have somebody else do it for you and why?
Yes its definately a quandary.
However, if somebody else loses it, its more akin to theft.
If you lose it your self, than you are just a dumb ass.

Scenario :You won the Jackpot-but you have a problem: You cannot find your ticket, now what?
I think that is very, very unlikely to happen. The ticket is a bearer instrument and unless you can show someone stole it, etc., it needs to be in your possession. And, even if you were recorded, it does not mean you were not purchasing the ticket for someone else or as part of a pool, etc. If this happened to someone with a lost ticket, I would love to see the link. No honest attorney is going to take a matter like that without claims of theft, etc.
If someone lost a ticket, they should call

$216 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot rolls again
It is strongly advised to sign the back of your lotto ticket after you purchase it to protect yourself from loss or theft.
If you don t sign your ticket someone else can claim your lotto winnings.
If you have lost a lotto ticket is it advised to contact the lotto you were playing and be able to provide them with information such as where and what time you bought the ticket from and what your chosen numbers were (and often useful if you know what else you bought at the same time).

Cash vs annuity, another factor to consider?
You might be miserable too if you didn't still live in mommy's basement, mediumbratwurst.
The rest of us actually have bills to pay believe it or not.
Ok now, back to your Gears of War or Grand Theft Auto or whatever you're playing today.

What would you do if someone won the PB or MM Jackpot in Maddog's Challenges?
Good one Ridge!
How about prescription windshields for drivers that don't want to wear glasses or contacts? A side benefit to this would be it would really cut down on auto theft!
As for someone actually winning here on LP I'd congratulate them, wish them good luck, and then wish them even more good luck in dealing with the onslught of PMs they would get.

Man has Tennessee Lottery tickets delivered to his doorstep
He had mentioned the seal on the box looked loose and possibly tampered with.
Probably he wanted to return to the Lottery Commission in case items were missing, didn't want to be blamed by the management of the store
they were addressed to of theft. IMHO.

$337 million Powerball jackpot ticket sold at gas station in small Michigan city
I hope whoever won this powerball is not coming forward because he/she is consulting with an attorney. I also hope that he/she has a lot more common sense than what we've seen with some other powerball winners, and doesn't turn into a jack whittaker, dave edwards or Mr. fick.
Someone should do a 5-10 year follow through with this winner, to show the typical problems that arise when someone wins millions. The state governments the lottery are apparently happily oblivious to the life changing f

NAACP wants Texas Lottery shut down
One last thought on this...why hasn't the NAACP said anything about the other bigger ways ghetto blacks who likely have multiple baby mommas spend their dough? How about blasting those guys dropping 1,000 to 3,000 dollars on 22 / 24 inch rims for their customized hoopty? Or spending a few Benjamin's for new kicks and saggy jeans just because other kicks got scuffed and didn't feel like laundering any of the other dozen of pants/shorts?
So the we know what's best for you NAACP focuses on a few

Claim lottery winnings using middle name
CT,
Going to take longer than 2017,
and I doubt it will be forced, at first, I think it will be sold as a great benefit,
something like a great protection against identity theft
