40 million dollar powerball winners
Looking at the powerball jackpots awarded since the inception of the $2 dollar ticket price, I couldn't find any 40 million dollar jackpot winners. Am I missing something here? Is it simply a lack of people playing because it is only a measly 40 million? I think it would be nice to see someone hit this, out of the radar, after this last powerball media frenzy.

you keep thinking that because Californians manage to win jackpots some way, some how. I still remember Californian Daniel Bruckner winning a MM jackpot with a ticket he bought while on vacation in NY.

I think a PowerBall jackpot will reach that amount sooner or later because its ticket price prevent players from buying enough tickets to generate the kinds of coverage that make it unlikely to ever happen. Some states are already changing their laws to protect large jackpot winners, once it happens other state will have to do the same if they expect to attract more players when jackpots reach those level.

I will have to agree with you. Self picks give you more control pertaining as to which numbers you play. The Donald's ticket proved that self picks have the chance as quick picks of winning a lottery jackpot. Quick picks win more jackpots because more players use them.
