Christmastime battle over lottery jackpot
and that is why I champion the saying, JUST SAY NO TO LOTTERY POOLS!!! But I don't believe in the saying (or the song), Mo Money, Mo Problems! Rather, it is more like, Mo People, Mo Problems!!! So that is why I would avoid participating in a lottery pool like it were the plague!!!

Christmastime battle over lottery jackpot
I think we can agree this is one of the dumbest things in lottery history. But just like everything else in life, you have to know who you're getting involved with. I'm sure that over the years Ms. French had plenty of clues as to what kind of people these were.
I have to disagree about pools. I think they're wonderful, and as we all know there are countless stories of very rich and happy pool groups.
We have one at my job with 8 people that play consistently. That's 16 more chances to win

Mega Millions: $168M Christmas Eve lottery jackpot
What would be better is having 4 or 5 winning tickets and maybe one of those being a lottery pool. Don't get me wrong, I would gladly accept $60 million after taxes, but why not spread the holiday cheer?

Why not start a megabillion jackpot
Ohio had a Super Lotto Plus game a few years back and its jackpot never went over a $100M because it was a 6/49+1 game. Simple having 6 numbers and an extra number does make the game harder, it's the size of the number pool. MegaMillions and PowerBall could make their jackpot harder to win by increasing the size of their number pools. For example increasing their WB pool to 100 and their Bonus number pool to 100 they would increase the odds of winning the jackpot to 1:7,528,752,000
possible

Lotto analysis of Cash 25 (WV)
Well I tried looking at the past 10 drawings and the past 20 drawings to decide on a pool of numbers to wheel and I did WORSE, lol. So using my 25 draw and 50 draw analysis I do way better. I'll just experiment some more I guess, really wanna fine tune it.

New Lottery
I'm talking about a format where you buy a ballot, not a numbered ticket. All the ballot buyers are assigned a number and the winners are picked from the pool of people who purchased. So you're odds are determined by the number of ballots sold. Think of it like a massive 50/50 draw only the prize would be more like 80 or 90% not 50.

New Lottery
In most traditional lotteries you try and match radomly drawn numbers. If they picked from the pool of players that purchased, there would never be a carry over, someone would win every draw.
