Gambling as a career??
Quote: Originally posted by Tazie on November 07, 2003 How many of you here played the lotto or any games of chance for a very long time and considered as a career in life? Tassie Anyone who has played the lotto for any length of time knows they need a real career to afford to play the lotteries and other games of chance. Anyone that has ever won a jackpot probably doesn't think about a career, but will wish they had when the money is gone.RJOh

Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Indiana Again
I hope Indiana continue to win, that where I get my PowerBall tickets when I play. Maybe I'll be one of those big winners some day. Until then I'll keep playing MegaMillions here in Ohio, it's time Ohio had a big winner in its game.RJOh

Scratch off Odds?
Somebody is losing, because many states report that the scratch-off and pick3 games are their best money makers. Giving ever player a free play or part of the cost of the ticket back makes every player a winner and the state an even bigger winner.RJOh

High Court OKs Lottery Worker's Prosecution
jacaesar,I read the story about Melvin Milligan claiming his ticket athttp://www.cnn.com/2001/US/06/15/lottery.winner.03/and it was for cash and after he mail it in, he showed up later to collect the check. That doesn't sound like a cover-up to me.RJOh

Marketing scholarships a challenge for Tennessee Lottery
What ever happened to the idea of students and their parents going to the local library and doing a little research to see what scholarships and grants are available for colleges and special schools. To succeed in college a student will have to do a lot of homework and research and there is no better time to start than when they are still in high school. If the state really wanted to help, they could make sure access to the material was available in all their libraries.RJOh

Mid Day vs. Evening...
hyersonig,Sorry to hear you're throwing in the towel on the jackpot games. When you think about the odds of winning a boxed hit and its payoff, are the odds really that bad in the jackpot games for the smaller prizes? Good luck to you.RJOh

lotterybible
Irvin,I did a similar search and also found that site. Sounds like their material is copyrighted, so Shakey Dee must be connected to them to sent out their material. 80%+ accuracy sounds interesting. RJOh
