I live in ny, and I have never won $10k playing the lottery. I rarely see anybody winning a jackpot in New York City. Long Island and Staten Island win the most jackpots. I feel that they need to win a lottery jackpot more than ever after being hit by hurricane sandy.

You can't do that in New York. They require for you to appear and your name to be public. I have seen New York lottery players claiming their jackpots through trusts and LLC, and they appeared on the press conference.The lottery also published their names.

I can think of two African Americans who won large powerball jackpots this year alone, and the latest from California lived in such a poor area

I have absolutly nothing to fear I just like my privacy. I voted it would depend on how much money and the size of the jackpot. If it is one of the mega huge jackpots it would be worth it to protect my anonymity.

I won $500 on Diamond Millionaire in Boston. Overall I hit less times and for less money than I do in Florida, but you guys have the best jackpots. I tried a roll about a year ago, $20 game. Cost $2K got back around $1,100 or so. was not happy about that........

Also I think it hasn't grown cause everybody or most anyways is buying the powerball tickets too....Also I don't think as many people buy tickets right after someone actually wins...One because its rare to have two jackpots back to back and two the jackpot is so low.....that's just my observation and opinion.....

I would continue to play the lottery after I won to see if I could win again. Win millions never gets old so I would continue to post and visit this site. Florida Lotto is now $16 Million. I will be chasing this jackpot for now. Powerball sales have to be down, because the jackpot is rolling at $10 million increments since the price increase. Remember when the jackpots you to roll between $15-$25 million when the price was $1. A Dollar and A Dream.
