Do YOU know any lottery winners personally?
The only people I know that really play the lottery are my step-brother and then the people on here, so that kind of limits how many people I would know (especially since I doubt anyone on here who has hit a major jackpot would even let that out).
Speaking of wondering what happened to them , I always think back to past winners I've read about and wonder what they're doing now. The major ones are Chris Shaw and Brad Duke. There was a rumor about Shaw getting arrested but I'm almost positive t

We all like our own flavor OneHitAway. Like I don't like pairs or sums (really sums are just clusters but I just know the whole numbers than run together rather than the sums) but I don't dis anyone who uses them. The last of the month always go back and wrap around the first of the month just like the weekends wrap around each other.
The way I try to see what NC is doing will choke the average player and I don't blame them. It takes a lot of work, but it would be nice to have someone to help

Mass. lottery player claims state's first Powerball jackpot
No buckeye, ya got it all wrong.
I like to think I have a soothing, calming effect on them.
I'm just trying to be proactive so I can nip it in the bud when they see this article and go stark, raving mad and commence foaming at the mouth and all like that.
It's kind of a homeopathic approach if you will.
The poor souls are just too high strung, that's all.
But I'm here for them.

If you had $500 to spend on Lottery Tickets...
i didn't check the 10k or 200k win but, i know for a fact he didn't win anything larger than 100k because i would have known as i was the store owner and would have been notified of a bonus.
i can also remember one time when this guy walked in and slap a hundred on a pick 3 because he dreamt it. well, he also didn't win because i slapped a whole dollar on that number too. lol its mostly luck and timing because i do remember seeing an article on lottery post about a guy hitting $100 on big4 b

All The Brains
Never let it be said that Jimmy4164 doesn't contribute ideas for system players!
But has Don Catlin been awarded the coveted Pumpi Seal of Approval ?
https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/218839
Since Catlin is your latest idol, try this one out at your local bowling center. Hey, maybe Bluejay will give 10 to 1 odds if you do this in 200,000 consecutive games.

Here's your chance Stack47. Surely you can take this proven paradox, apply it to the lottery, and produce a winning system from two losers.

Until a couple of years ago, if someone had asked me if it was possible to somehow combine two games with negative expectations into a game with a positive expectation, I would have told them it wasn't p

A Leisurely Look At Horses And Their Human Associates
Thanks for your input. I don't have time tonight (this AM!) for more verbage, but here's a picture to consider. I know we're supposed to be talking about horses, but for tonight let's pretend they have red and black coded patterns on their saddle pads! This is from an article by Phil Abel in the November 2003 issue of Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities magazine.
How can the average gambler expect to fare at the roulette table? Figure 1 (below) shows a distribution of simulated outc

Wave pattern analysis and lottery draw histories
This post is not meant to disrespect CARBOB. It's understandable why he mentioned Benford's Law when he did, by reference. However, given what research has revealed about Benford's Law applied to lottery draws, I think it is important to point out that Benford's Law does NOT correlate with lottery results!
I'm surprised you would not have clicked back on this and included a mention of it in your reply to CARBOB.
In case the caption above is too faded to read on your monitor, it re

Tennessee's biggest Powerball winner keeps low profile
A lot of good points there joshua.
But I wonder if the lottery makes it to where an owner cannot edit his own tapes. I wonder if doing so would change up the date/time stamp.
Not to mention, from what I read here, TN Lottery would never investigate anyway.
But this is nice to hear of fellow Tennesseans playing it smart with their money. Hopefully this article popping up is a sign that TN will have another multi-millionare winner via Powerball or Mega Millions.
This Tennessean definit

If you had 10 bucks to bet...
Jade
I once read a online article that showed a very small avantage playing several tickets at one time vs
one at a time. I went through the math and came up with the same results so I accepted it as fact.
This was many years ago and I used the information posted so I could have been mislead in how the
calculations were made.
