I remember when Ohio used to always win the Mega Millions jackpots, now Ohio hardly ever wins any jackpot, not even it's own state lottery Classic Lotto. Classic lotto rolls for over a year before it gets hit and when it does get hit it's from someone out of town who bought a ticket in the state.

Nahhh it had to be random cause how would they know the start number would be 13?? It's all random otherwise more people would be dividing up jackpots. Random

While MM and PB recharge their jackpots, I think I'll try playing Classic Lotto again for while. I'm already updating my files and getting ready for this Saturday's drawing. Will see if my $20 will do any better it than it did with MM and PB.

Great Iowa has won it multiple huge jackpots this year no to mention a big Mega millions too. I thnk since California win the Mega every month and small states like Iowa win the power all its frustrating.

Also when local lotteries like our Classic Lotto (6/49) had jackpots of $50M with cash values of $25M, anyone with $14M could just ask to play all the combinations and be guaranteed a share of the jackpot if not all of it.

Hum, since this is the 4th of 8 MM winning jackpots in California this year, why not simply rename this lottery to the California MegaMillions lottery game? [That way players will understand better where to buy from if they want to win the jackpot!!!]

Hey don't let it get you down...it's just random...I'll tell you what too.... ever since that guy in S.C. dropped $2 on a powerball ticket and freakin won a 265 million dollar jackpot...I can't make myself buy a whole lot of tickets so do what i do and just buy at least one ticket for every drawing and no more than 10 for jackpots over 100 million that way at least your in it but if you don't win you haven't spent a whole lot of BILL money...but its just random I keep hoping I'll win one day but

The name of this game pretty much sums it up, but that hasn't stopped people from playing millions on PB and MM. If players prefer to play for life changing jackpots, all the lotteries will accommodate them. Those playing for the secondary prizes can get much better odds by playing other games.
