Scary Georgia Lottery Rumor for Players Everywhere
You need id to play any lottery because you must be able to prove you're over 18 if asked.
While at first it sounds pretty stupid to require id to play, as many will play and few will win. It really isn't all that different from what's required when winning over $600 unless you want to hop from store to store.
If you win more than $600, you'll need to fill out a claim form, collect your photo ID and Social Security card, and head to a Georgia Lottery district office . . .

Identical quick picks 10 times
In an email, the Lottery tells us, Engineers are continuing to perform a battery of tests and analyses to 1) Determine the root cause of the event with the terminal or system; 2) Determine if there have been past events of a similar nature in Arizona; 3) Certify that no current or future risks are posed to the Arizona Lottery players.
Executive Director Jeff Hatch-Miller says, in part, Our security team took immediate and appropriate actions to respond to this isolated incident. While statis

States up the online ante
The convenience store owners need to be scared: I have several reasons why I would play online vs. the store.
1) Mean, nasty store clerks with crinkled up little faces looking down on me 'cause they had a rough day when the jackpots get high.
Only this weekend I had a new clerk mess up a ticket of mine and tried to charge me twice the price. When I told her to look on the tickets themselves and she could see she was the wrong one, she cleared out the tickets from the machine and toss

Hot Sauce's CA Fantasy 5 Predictions
It is my understanding that the only hardware aspect of CA's Fan5 is whether to use machine A or B ... and the rest is some psuedo random process.
From the CA lottery website FAQs:
Fantasy 5 Drawings:
The draws are conducted using an Automated Draw Machine, which is a state-of-the-art computer used to draw winning numbers in a fair and equitable way.
The Automated Draw Machine is a stand-alone computer, which means it isn't connected to any other computer system. The computer's hard

I asked my co-worker this...
Never stop working but with that much money I would work on projects I want to do. I love
to program and hope I die face down on the keyboard. Working keeps the mind active and
I have seen too many people die within a few years of retirement. Having money takes on a
different meaning the older you get and being able to support myself to the end is what matters
most. Cars, boats, houses and all the other stuff would be nice but at my age I am not really

Internet Lottery Bill (SB 3497) Amended Could be voted on Today!
SB 3497 expands the Internet Lottery Pilot program to include Powerball tickets, which are sold in 45 states. The original bill is limited to Lotto and Mega Million tickets (25% of Lottery sales).
SB 3497 was amended to create an Internet Lottery Study Committee to determine the feasibility of the sale of stored value cards. While this seems commendable, there is

Law of Attraction...a little history
This is from a book called Occult America
The Secret History of How Mysticism Shaped Our Nation
by Mitch Horowitz
(Regarding New Thought)
Even the movement's central concept - the Law of Attraction - could appear jerry-rigged. This spiritual law had its origins in the work of andrew Jackson Davis, although he never quite intended for how it came to be used. In 1855, writing in Volume IV of another of his massive treatsies, The Great Harmonia, Davis coned the trm Law of Attraction to

Paranoid...or Prepared?
This is a fun post. I love to dream about what I'd do if I won a huge jackpot! I also like to read about what others dream about.
1. Yes, I'd tell my immediate family and ask them to keep it to themselves.
2. To close friends I would say that I've come into a little money unexpectedly.
3. I'm older that you -so already used to working with accountants and investment planners. I would use the same people I've used and trusted in the past. No PIs. When it comes to my money, I'm the best P

Paranoid...or Prepared?
1) I would tell my close family. I am very close with my parents and my father-in-law as well as a couple of cousins. I want to help them out some when I win, depending on size of JP.
2) If strangers ask me, I will not tell them the truth, only that some investments I've made have finally panned out.
3) No PI for me, I have a solid home life and family.
4) No security system. I live in the middle of 60 acres now. I have 5 dogs, a couple of rifles, several handguns, and a shovel. Any st
