It's bull crap. If you buy more tickets you increase your odds very slightly. Obviously the best way to increase your odds is to cover all the Mega/Power balls. If you cover every MB you improve your odds of 1 in 135 mill to 1 in 2.6 mill.

After updating Sal, it appears all 3 digits will again come from within the last 4 games. Just havent determined yet whether the number of levels will also increase again or stay at 5. If they stay and all come within last 4 games the 97, 50 or 21 have to play as pairs with something else....or else they play together and 1 of the digits double. To increase to 5 levels then 1 digit from each of those pairs.

Its a steady source of income but not a consistent source of income. If you check out the rollovers in 2000 and 2001, they are considerably higher when the jackpot got above $100,000,000 (even when lower). But in 2002, 2003, the rollovers were not as high when the jackpot was above $100,000,000. If I have a better job where I'm making more money, sure I would like to buy a couple of extra tickets to try to increase my chances of winning. So if the economy is better, it does increase the sale
