Scratch games power increased Arizona Lottery revenues
Arizona Lottery sales exceeded $379.9 million during the first half of its 2016 fiscal year, which ran from July 1 through Dec. 31, 2015.
These numbers represent an increase of 12.2 percent over the same period during the previous fiscal year. Notably, the increase does not include the entire windfall of sales generated by the record-breaking $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot drawing which took place in January.
Sales data indicates there were an average of more than 97,000 winning Arizona L

Buying More Tickets Does Not Increase Your Odds.
The only way to increase or decrease the Odds of any lottery game is by changing the game matrix. The Odds are the equation of the game. Coin Toss understood my point Thrifty is right, each individual ticket (one line of numbers) is up against the very same odds, 175,000,000 to one.
Yes you can increase your chances of winning by buying more tickets, but every single tickets will go against the Odds of the particular game.I feel that the following explains my point very well.

would you still play?
Coin toss you are so right. It wouldn't surprise me if the state has been monitoring this site, and post like this too.
i am sorry, i totally missed it, i was kind of selfish, [just to make you see where avarice could take you] not only would i want them to increase the second prize jackpot of 5of 6 but they should go ahead and increase the third prize [4of 5 + bonus ball]. It currently pays 10,000. If they added 1 more ball, they should increase the third prize [4of 5 + bonus ball] to

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
This is the largest jackpot increase in this run and is mainly due to an increase in interest rates.
Please don't forget my $5 that I put into the increase (because I did not win anything, it counts)
Hope I win something on Tuesday

Lotto Max to undergo significant game changes, price increase
Bigger jackpots, but they're harder to win
By Kate Northrop
The multi-province Lotto Max game is getting an overhaul this spring, which will include a bigger jackpot cap, additional $100,000 prizes with every draw, and a ticket price increase.
Lotto Max, the multi-province draw game of Canadian lotteries, is set to deliver higher jackpots, additional prizes, and more lines per play, all at the cost of a ticket price increase and more difficult odds at hitting the jackpot.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
There's that increase to 1.4! I agree I think it's going to end up between 1.45 and 1.5 tonight. Saturday is projected at 1.7 but I'll be surprised if it's not between 1.8 and 1.9
My thinking is the out of ordinary factor is when people are nervous about the economy, lottery sales increase, we also haven't had a jackpot over 1B for awhile so there isn't the burn out. And personally I'm putting money I would have spent on mega into PB instead so a lot of other people probably are too. Me

Powerball reaches $643 million: highest lottery jackpot of 2025
It rolled, and there's a very good chance it will be past the billion mark when the drawing happens. NY has been showing the final amount on the results page, and Monday's jackpot is reported as $776.7 million. That's a jump of $60.9 million over the previous drawing and Mondays have the worst increases, typically being less than the previous Wednesday to Saturday increase. For Wednesday's drawing the original $815 million seemed very conservative, and at a reported $861.2 million we got an incr

$900 MILLION: Powerball jackpot rises, but sales miss in last draw makes for small increase
The PB worksheet on the TX lottery website still shows the initial forecast for sales of about $197.5 million (and an annuity of 875) for Saturday's drawing, but that was based on increasing from 750 to 875 million. The actual increase to just under 830 million suggests sales were actually about $126 million. The sales forecast for Wednesday is listed as just under $98 million, so the actual increase was a hair over 28%.
That would suggest that Monday's jackpot would increase by about $103 m
