would you still play?
Well if Mega can't get it up so to speak then there are three choices.
1. Do nothing and watch sales tank.
2. Change the price of each ticket to $2 instead of $1.
3. Change the matrix of the game.
In all three options people will complain. Option one results in complaints from participating states about low sales and players wanting large jackpots. Option two results in complains about the price conscience and the $1 players (who become $2 players). Option three gets the usual com

easy Lotteries Vs. Bank robbing....
No matter how easy you may want to set a pick3, the payout should be around 35 dollars for a 6-way box payout for 1 dollars. Why?Because you have to take into account one factor i call the number of casualties ...by that i mean the number of people that must loose, to make 1 winner. If the payout is 35, that means that 35 people (assuming most people spend 1 dollar on the game) must lose in order to create 1 winner. If most people spend 2 dollars the amount of people that must lose is 17, if is

It's a good bet that the Ohio Lottery's big-money jackpot game won't be around much longer. The lottery is planning to replace Super Lotto Plus, which has existed in various Super Lotto forms since 1987, with another game designed to be different than the 12-state Mega Millions game played in Ohio. The new game, to be called Lot 'O Play, will be available at online sales terminals starting Oct. 9, Tom Hayes, Ohio Lottery director, said Wednesday. N.D. lottery's first year deemed 'exceptional'
Nearly a year after North Dakota unveiled its state lottery, former Gov. Arthur Link still gets annoyed waiting in line for someone else to splurge on the dream of a big payday. It happened just the other day, Link said, when he watched a man ahead of him in a convenience store hand over $2 for a couple of slips of paper. Link is among the lottery's foremost critics. Those with a sunnier view of the lottery point to a ledger that shows North Dakota's treasury raking in nearly $6 million since Marc

When to Play the Lottery
You can use trend analysis for anything from the lottery to football to how a diesel engine performs. As far as betting on sports, yes some teams or players have certain reputations and everyone likes a sure bet. Sport players get their results from good training, coaching and determination (not pre-determination). If a player or team isn't motivated then chances are they will lose. And if an opposing team goes up against a winning team with a great season or track record then yes there is that

Missouri Lottery outperforms every other state
The Missouri Lottery is the fastest-growing game in the United States, according to an annual survey by International Gaming Wagering Business. The Missouri Lottery posted 21.3 percent growth in the 2003 fiscal year that just ended on top of 15 percent growth the previous year, outperforming every other lottery, the trade publication said in its September issue. It is very difficult to string together two outstanding years in the current environment, so Missouri's accomplishment is all the mo

N.J. Lottery revenue tops $2 billion for second straight year
New Jersey Lottery sales topped the $2 billion mark for the second consecutive year even though sales of tickets for both the Pick 6 Lotto and Lotzee games dropped significantly. The lottery, which is New Jersey's fourth-largest revenue producer, brought in $764 million to state coffers in the fiscal year that ended in June. That was an increase of $10 million over the previous year. The biggest sales gains last year were registered for the state's instant games, which increased by 16.5 percent

$1.8 billion Powerball jackpot won by a single lottery ticket sold in Arkansas
Congratulations to the winner. I hope they do amazing things with the opportunity they have been blessed with. On a side note, I think the MUSL does a poor job of marketing the game as they really don't want people to play and or win often. Especially at low levels. 20M dollars (9.2M cash) is also life changing money. Anyone who wins that could take the cash, literally do NOTHING but invest in basic treasuries and still earn 17k dollars a month in perpetuity. Imagine spending 17k dollars and it

Michigan Lottery announces Bonus Draws Daily 4 promotion
Of course you don't have any proof. That's because what you wrote is false.
Paying you 20% more on a winning ticket does not make the game harder to win when they're not changing the numbers matrix. You pick 4 numbers, with some type of bet (straight, boxed, etc.), and they pick 4 numbers. A match wins whatever amount, plus 20% in the promotion. Your chances of winning are the same.

Powerball sales in Australia and New Zealand.
Exactly. Our Powerball is easier to win than yours and the jackpots are still life changing. One person just won $30 million this past thursday night. Another person won $60 million a few weeks ago.
The way I see it, any millions is better than none and play whichever game(s) have the lowest odds of winning.
