Why does the jackpot rise more slowly now
yeah i think rjoh is definely right about the interest rates. thats why powerball changed to a 30 year annuity. it's also strange that when a jackpot hits even 200 it doesnt jump like it use to but in 2000 the economy was better off and when you worry about your job or you dont have the spare cash that effects sales.

Lotto Numbers System Test
To have a test, you would need some questions. What kinds of questions would you be seeking the answers to? The most common question is 'will these numbers win the next jackpot' and usually after the drawings, you have your answer 'NO', and any test that tells you different is probably faulty.RJOh

Why does the jackpot rise more slowly now
CO Bug,I think you're both right. CO's point was that all the $3 and $4 winners from the big jackpot draw fueled sales for the next few draws after a big win. It may have been RJOh who mentioned the multi-draw ticket theory. I'm sure both theories could contribute to the rapid initial jackpot growther, followed by a normalization of growth.

Why does the jackpot rise more slowly now
I remember someone had that idea, maybe it was RJOH. He is one of our mobile lotto players along with some others on the board. This Powerball run didn't we have a big jump the first draw, but this last rollover hasn't been that awe inspiring?

Friday Mega Millions
Vision, I'm sure a lot of LP members feel your pain, but did you really expect better with one QP per draw? Now that Ohio has MegaMillions, I don't enjoy driving to Indiana to pick up PowerBall tickets as much as I used to, but I have $15 worth of tickets from August 27th to cash in and I don't want to give up my winnings so I will have one more fling with the PowerBall when it get to $100M+. Hopefully if I don't win big, I won't win anything at all and I can end this affair with PowerBall.Good

Buckeye 5 ( October )
I've been watching that list I posted for the last 3 draws and it has matched 2 four times each draw. $12 for $75 dollars is nothing to brag about.RJOh

New breakthrough prediction system
Guru,If you really had a breakthrough prediction system, why would you be concern about convincing a bunch of skeptics? You could do better using it yourself and laughing all the way to the bank, unless the only money you expect to put in the bank is from the sale of your software. Good luck on your test. RJOh

MM Drawing for Tuesday 9/30/03
I played a $10 wheel with 14 numbers and I played $10 worth of tickets with 50 random numbers within setted parameters and hit the megaball in the second group. What I need is a 5 position wheel for 52 numbers with at least a guaranteed match 2.RJOh
