Will Powerball roll over?Reply
If Powerball rolls over 18 times, like Mega Millions just did, its jackpot would be well over 2 BILLION!! I don't think we'll ever see Powerball roll that many times, simply because it takes the game fewer rolls to get to eye popping jackpots than Mega Millions does, thanks to the $2 ticket price.

Usually play Fantasy 5 .....since Powerball came to FL 3 years ago I havent spent more than $25. Our jackpots only go up a million at a time now....last Jackpot I observed up over 20 million was last Christmas.....

Will Powerball roll over?
We're at a familiar level of the Powerball jackpot. The past three Powerball jackpots have been won at or below this level (one was won at only $60 million). Will it hit again Wednesday 4/4/12 or will it actually make it to $80 million for Saturday 4/7/12?

Ok here is a question for you long time Lottery Post'ers... After a big jackpot has ended (like MM last night), does lottery play in general drop off or does it remain constant? That is something that has puzzled me. If I were horribly disappointed from over spending last night, do most just stop lottery play, thus 'hurting' the jackpots that are still in play? ( such as now a smaller group playing PB so its jackpot will increase slower?)

Whenever someone throws out those 99% or 95% statistics, I just think about what percentage the people who won the past jackpots had. People win with 1 out of 175,711,536 just the same as people can lose with 175,711,535 out of 175,711,536.

I wonder when the federal government will get the clue that this is THE way to take care of the deficit? Have a NATIONAL lottery system... with all proceeds - not earmarked for prizes - going toward paying off the deficit. A few 640M$ jackpots and we would have the problem solved.

I wasn't talking about deserving just would it change your view if the winner came from one of the backgrounds. Jackpots go the the lucky person who gets the right numbers not always the deserving in the end it's just a game of chance.

I'm sure someone will always be upset it wasn't them...But c'mon RI has had two jackpots in a couple of months time for the BIG MONEY to come to me! LOL... Would be the first MM winner from the state of SC and bringing home 1/2 a Billion to boot.....(A guy can dream can't he)

Right now, the jackpot sizes are driving sales just as PB had hoped, only they don't have the larger jackpot as they had hoped. It may be with PB not attracting most of the casual players with its price, its jackpots may be lower most of the times.
