Friend charged with hiding lottery winner's death
This is truly a sad story. I was praying he went away and would contact his mother and the authorities to say he just needed to escape from those snakes around him. it was really fishy for him to sell his house to his finacial planner for $ 200,000 less than he purchased it. A legitimate financial planner could not purchase the property from him if she's also entrusted with managing his accounts.
I think the police know just what they're doing. Charge her with a lesser crime, get her to telll

Please Put yourself in My Shoes: Playing Politics with Powerball..
Pumpi,
You need to stop writing about this publicly immediately - the fate of many individuals and nations depends on it.
For the record, you are correct. The lottery is totally and easily beaten. I myself have won several times. You've never heard of me because I pay off others to collect my money so that I can remain anonymous.
There are seven of us - with you eight - that now know the lottery system that wins every time and only costs $78 to play. Kudos on figuring the system out...

Top Ten Lottery Tragedies
I agree
Anonymity would not have helped theses situations. For some, put alot of money, achoholism, drug addiction, the need for attention (like agreeing to be featured in a tv program like the lottery changed my life ) just shouts disaster. There are thousands of lotter winners that we don't hear about who knew what to do after their win. As they say If you are a miserable person with a ten dollars, you will be miserable with a ten million.
IMHO - successful lottery winners.

How would you allow yourself to change if you won?
I think the best part of playing the lottery is allowing yourself to imagine how you would do things if you won the jackpot. So I got to thinking, why not post this question on here? I'll go first:
First, I would remain anonymous. For at least one year, I would not tell anyone, especially my parents, since we tend to argue over things often, especially over financial matters. For that year, I would *attempt* to remain at work, and I think I could do it. In the meantime, I'd buy a new house, b

Two winners to share record A$106 million Australian lottery
A couple from Queensland state and a man from South Australia will share more than A$106 million (US$86 million) as the only jackpot winners in the nation's record lottery drawn last night.
Holders of the winning Oz Lotto entries, who asked to remain anonymous, will each take about A$53 million in the second-largest single payouts in Australian lottery history. The previous record jackpot of A$58.7 million was won on a single ticket last year.
The first division prize pool, created after 1

Ohio Mega Millions lottery winner claims prize anonymously
The owner of a winning Mega Millions ticket claimed their prize Friday.
But the identity of the winner won't be made public after two attorneys claimed the prize on behalf of a blind trust which Ohio law allows.
Chillicothe attorney Deborah Barrington and Columbus attorney Ronald Rowland, cotrustees of The Ross County Beneficiary Trust, claimed the $75.6 million prize for the winner at the Ohio Lottery's offices in Cleveland.
The winner had 180 days in which to claim the prize, but wait

Piqua lottery winners sued by co-workers
Well I don't know how it is from state to state exactly, but pretty much if you're driving drunk you're guilty of driving under the influence no matter what happened. Pulled over for speeding, drunk? DUI. No seatbelt, drunk? DUI. Got hit by another drunk, while you were drunk? DUI for two.
So, whether or not I can absolutely prove I didn't step out on the road or not, the guy who hit me is still charged with a DUI which he will have to defend against seperately. And based on his winning

Why you should try to remain anonymous if you ever win a jackpot!
Don't believe me? Let me share an example.
I collect my paycheck every two weeks. No one has ever seen me collect my paycheck and expect me to give them some money just because I got paid.
I collect a $100 powerball win, and half the people I tell say, I guess you are buying lunch.
If you win, and are not anonymous, everyone that knows you won your money, instead of earned it, is going to expect their free lunch from you.
I totally agree. I won 1k on a scratcher in Ga last yea

Washington lottery winner claims jackpot anonymously
Winner of $9.7M prize forms corporation to conceal identity
The winner of a $9.7 million Washington Lotto jackpot has claimed the prize more than a month after the drawing.
The winning ticket was brought in to the Lottery's Everett regional office by a representative for A2A3A4, LLC of Seattle. The corporation opted for the cash payment, receiving $3,637,500 after taxes.
Lottery spokeswoman Jacque Coe said it was unusual that no winner came forward immediately after the July 26 drawing.

Names for Lottery Tickets
Okay, Pac. So you think I should perhaps come up with a new, unique topic like
Quick Picks or Your Own Numbers?
Annual Payments or Lump Sum?
What would you do if you won the PB?
Would you want to remain anonymous?
How much money would you give away?
Where would you live if you won a jackpot?
Would you quit your job if you won the lottery?
How do you pick your numbers?
