Will it hit $500 million by Friday night?
So the Mega Millions jackpot rolled to $476 million. Given the propensity of large jackpots to keep rising between drawings, do you think it'll hit the big 500 by the end of the week?

How much are you spending on tix?
Normally just 2-3 dollars on large jackpots but this time I bought 10 QP's and 5 with the multiplier. It was a 3-hour drive drom Orlando so I had to justify the additional tickets plus I picked up a few extra for some of my neighbors.

$356 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot nears record
I was going by the mediocre rise of the jackpots since the MM has gotten so high. Apparently you are the ONLY one who played it then. I think the majority of the ppoulation find that spending $1.00 for a chance at $360 million is a lot better deal.

N.J. couple claims $70M Powerball jackpot
Yes, I meant to say that it had tickets sales from both matrices. 3 powerball jackpots of $70M New York, $60M Rhode Island, and $70M New Jersey had been won with the new game matrix. I feel that powerball has made more millionaires the way they promised.

$363 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot raised due to heavy sales
Well, Faber, I didn't win Ohio Classic, so I'm taking the chance on my life getting ruined.
All kidding aside, in some ways I completely get what you're saying. And I believe there have been a few large jackpots historically gone unclaimed because people realized they won and knew they couldn't handle it. And those jackpots were nowhere close to this one.
Still, there's so much good that can come out of this windfall. One (and I would) could easily give half away to charity, family, friend

Where can I find...
Stats on jackpots hit with QP's compared to chosen numbers? I tried asking this in another thread but didn't get an answer. I've also tried googling but no luck.

$356 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot nears record
If I had some sort of sepical being as my bf, I would at least get 7 jackpots before I get tired of winning. But on Tuesday I'm not going to need E.T. All six of those numbers are going to match without him. I know some states take more than others, but whatever they take, it still leaves me with more money than I ever had in my life. We can help close family friends and still have many millions left.

Clarence Jackson/Lucke or Unlucke win 5.8 million lottery
This is an excellent point. Besides, even if you could argue that the jackpot became his when the winning numbers were drawn, there is probably a law that specifically exempts unclaimed lotto jackpots from the unclaimed property law.

Stores on Georgia State line crowded. Brought 300 tickets for Tuesdays drawing.
The last time I remember lines here in Idaho was at least a decade ago, and it seems like the jackpot was around 250 - 300 million. We kinda got used to the huge jackpots. I'm betting it'll take close to a billion dollar jackpot to excite people like that again.

NY Lotto
NY lotto is a great game to play. It will be nice to play all those jackpots games through the Internet. The way they do it in the UK. I feel that NY will follow illinois on this.
