Very interesting, I see what you are saying about the 3 times it was only 50k annuity. Wonder if it could be in part due to the date before it was 'over' inflated and sales were not what they expected. Such as 12-8 being only like 100k when they expected 190K??

Mega Millions is still second until they can reach past Powerball's first place jackpot back in 2016. Mega has the biggest single ticket winner with SC winner but Powerball holds the title for biggest annuity and biggest cash prize ever. I do not think Powerball has anything to worry about their is plenty of money to go around for both multi-state games.-weshar75

I am kind of a fan of letting the PB get to $100 Million Cash value mark... MM to get up to $100-$150 Million Cash value range. Can depend if someone I participate with, asks when the advertised annuity is over $100 Mill or maybe buying a gift/Christmas present if the jackpots are below the $100 Million mark.

1 million second price is just 1 million minus tax with no annuity option. So after both state and federal taxes NC winner is looking at $582k and change. So with megapliers x3 it s $1,680,000 after all state and fed taxes paid. I won t complain with that in my bank account.
