Computerized lottery drawings not problem-free
MUSL director Strutt says Small group of players don't like them Passailaigue says players superstitious, spooked by changes in draw format Arkansas lottery officials say their decision to use a computer to generate winning numbers when lottery games start this fall makes economic sense, but the use of computerized drawings by lotteries in other states has not been free of problems. In July 2007, the Tennessee Education Lottery moved to save costs by doing away with its televised drawi

Tenn. Lottery CEO blames lagging sales on Powerball
The lottery board is a farce. I don't know how you get appointed to serve on the board, but one of the qualifications is that you must be willing to play ball . They're supposed to oversee the lottery, but its more like they're in cahoots with them instead. The board approved (for the first time in the lottery's existence) a change in how the bonuses were paid this year...why? So they'd have a better shot at earning it in the face of declining sales, it's now determined on less cut-and-dried met

N.C. lottery turns record profits for state
Some people might disagree but I think that it's the pre-test draws that throw off the numbers in NC pick 3. They have too many draws before the actually number and then after the actual draw they do another pre-test draw. So there's 3 draws before the actual draw, the 4th is the actual draw and then they do one after. 5 draws a day. I don't know how how other states do their pre-tests but something doesn't seem right about how it's done in NC. And I like to see them turn the machine on and

How to Prove Your Lottery IS Fixed?
I don't want to burst your bubble but you were entered into a game that somewhere either on the ticket, their website, or at the stores that sold the tickets. Said if you were chosen as a finalist that you had to fill out a questionnaire, that you had to be present for the final drawing, that your image or likeness would be represented and that you would be a participant in the final drawings goings on. In other words all of you that showed up and completed the necessary forms would be a part

Wheel Generator 1.5
I stand corrected, now there has been another group that won an unusual amount of higher tier prizes that got their numbers from a single source, the TLC Network's broadcast of How the Lottery Changed My Life according this news story: https://www.lotterypost.com/news/163572 Make me wonder why the same things hasn't happened with a group using the same software. I have to conclude that software results are random or include so many possible outcomes that players using the same software ar

what state do you think has the worst lottery?
By far the worst Lottery in the Country (and maybe even the world) is the Hoosier Lottery. Here are just some of the reasons why: A history of scandal and corruption: The Hoosier Lottery has a well documented history of scandal and corruption. These are just a few of the high...or rather low lights: 1. Jack Crawford was the Hoosier Lottery's first Director. He was forced to resign after news of an affair with his housekeeper hit the press. While this scandal was not related to lotte

Jack W. On 20/20 Tonight
One can glaringly see the level of closed mindedness when reading some of these *opinions*. How unfortunate that whilst we may have freedom of speech , some folks lack empathy or the ability to *forever* hold their peace til they walk in that persons shoes. Its so very easy to judge another actions and think themselves *above* such demeanor. Yet as my grandma used to say: Spit in the wind and you'll see whats on your face. I saw the broadcast and a new level of regard went out to this man. H
