How many times have you completely stopped playing the lottery?
When I was living where there wasn't any. The first time I played was in Germany, 1970-1972. Returned to the states, Texas, no lotto at the time. Then Korea, then California - no lotto at the time. Then lived in Nevada and didn't play until Nipton got popular (Calif. lotto) Now in Illinois, play $1 or $2 a day.

The overlap system
lol! A+ for entertainment. Do not forget your lederhosen lakerben. I was in Germany, very nice and people generally fun loving, accepting and open. I'm happy you turned your initial reaction around Lottomeister. lakerben, your mind is a machine. Keep up the good work! I'll test in PA. Ty!

Raising a staggering €4.5 billion
They floated the idea of a pan-european lottery back in the day, but because the government kept arguing that gambling was to be tightly regulated for player and addiction protection/prevention they would have tanked their own case by signing on to a lottery that has jackpots that have the potential to rise as high as 190m . So 8 years later they started Eurojackpot which only has the potential to reach 90m , because clearly the potential for addiction is much smaller this way As for

Texas: 7/1 - 7/31/2015
There's actually some guy on a motor cycle in the Houston area who is wanted for taunting police who couldn't catch him on his bike because of his high rates of speed. In fact once during a chase, it was reported on the news that after losing them in hot pursuit, he actually turned around and came back to pass them again to make fun of their slow capacity vehicles! He's lucky they didn't just shoot him! Watch out LadyC - you might have to take that Challenger to Germany to drive it on the aut

Mega Millions And Powerball Jackpot Won Back To Back In New York.
MaximumMillions, I lived in Germany in the 1970s, in Hessen. I was stationed in Friedberg and lived in Bad Nauheim. A neighbor was the weatherman on the local TV station and hit the Hessen lotto. He didn't seem to get pestered like many stories here on LP about winners. This will sound silly but I learned to count in German by watching the drawings on Saturday nights. Of course, it was Hessen German, so zwanzish instead of zwanzig, etc.... At that time I think the 6/49 wa

Mega Millions And Powerball Jackpot Won Back To Back In New York.
I'm specifically talking about people from the US complaining that they would rather see more people win life-changing jackpot amounts more often than see one or two winners win 300mil$. I can see both variants as attractive, but the reasoning given by the lc is always that people just don't want that , but the success off scratchers in the US seems to me to be a perfect example of people wanting better chances of winning just a few millions. BTW in Germany the odds are horrible the 6

Slot machine saves German gambler as police arrive
Police said Thursday that two officers carrying out routine checks at an arcade in the western city of Bochum, Germany, late last week discovered that a man playing a slot machine faced an arrest warrant. He had been ordered to pay a 710 (US$910) fine or go to prison for 71 days after resisting police during a previous incident. Police say that as officers informed the man that he faced arrest, the slot machine started to flash and the beaming 37-year-old won a jackpot of 1,000 (about US$1

How much money per week would you consider Set for Life?
I like that saying Jon... Less stressed for life ... you should see if Cali will buy that slogan from you on the next set of scratchers I saw that article too a while back. There were several takes on the data in that study too... for example how do you define happiness ... hard to quantify etc. Also saw a range from $75,000 up to $160,000... but $75K seemed to be the sweet spot for most. Interesting to note where other nations fell in that study... think Germany was around $80,000, Si
