When I was living where there wasn't any. The first time I played was in Germany, 1970-1972. Returned to the states, Texas, no lotto at the time. Then Korea, then California - no lotto at the time. Then lived in Nevada and didn't play until Nipton got popular (Calif. lotto) Now in Illinois, play $1 or $2 a day.

There's actually some guy on a motor cycle in the Houston area who is wanted for taunting police who couldn't catch him on his bike because of his high rates of speed. In fact once during a chase, it was reported on the news that after losing them in hot pursuit, he actually turned around and came back to pass them again to make fun of their slow capacity vehicles!
