Iowa lottery offering bonus holiday drawing
TN already has the same thing where you can register losing scratchers for a 2nd chance drawing. Though I rarely play scratchers I find that I have the same luck on 2nd chance drawings as I do on the original scratchers - none. I think it's a good idea for Iowa or any other state to do it though. The one bad aspect with TN though is you don't have to show a ticket for the 2nd chance drawing if you win. I think that unnecessarily leaves a window open for possible corruption. I don't like th

Tiger Woods why don't they leave him alone?
you know what I find so interesting about this is ,the media is having a field day ,ok we all have transgressions but snip tiger will not be the first and wont be the last but the first tournament he plays in will be sold out the second sold out his appeareance fees of 2 million to play in certain tournaments probably will double tw golf apparrel and clubs will still fly off the shelf hmmmmmmmmmmm I know its the family that most are concerned about and I cant defend that but look at it this way

Would You Spend $20 On A Raffle Ticket?
Yes! It depends on the PRIZE and what it could mean for you personally. I just spent $100 on a raffle ticket that benefits THE FIRST TEE, and is 100% tax deductable. If I had won, three of my closest golfing buddies and I would have flown to Pebble Beach, where we would have stayed for two or three nights and played three rounds of golf. No guts no glory.

Ohio Classic Lotto STILL going up!
Remember this story? https://www.lotterypost.com/news/166147 I suspect we will be reading a similar story soon. Only the state name, winner name and the jackpot amount will change. I suspect Ohio jackpot won't reach $54M and if it does the cash amount will only be $27M. *If I'm in the picture, I'll be wearing my khaki LP cap and white LP golf shirt.

Lottery officials confirm Chubb workers as winners of $140M Mega Millions jackpot
I actually agree with those who DECIDE to CONTINUE to do something workwise, whether that is continuing to hold down a JOB or starting/continuing a BUSINESS. Doing WORK keeps ones MIND constructively occupied; to just go on a permanent vacation likely would lead to ones demise through boredom, frivolous spending, drug use, excessive gambling, and the like. Unless one found a CONSTRUCTIVE hobby that OCCUPIED the majority of one's time each day, such things are likely to occur and no amount of one

After the Big Win
Since I do not have a job in the technical sense of the word (yet I am working for a living), I would have to say that this would have no bearing on me. But if you're talking about how much money I would need to win in order to stop working for a living, I would still think that just because I enjoy what I do (helping others achieve financial independence), I would not quit working in that capacity even if I happened to win $10M or even $100M (cash value in both cases). But my lifestyle would de
