Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The Powerball jackpot increased by $30.3 million to $775 million after 37 rolls.
Last time around PB's advertised increase in this range was $65 million, from 750 to 815 (later boosted to 850, for an increase of $100 million). There's a chance this one will also get a boost tomorrow, but no way the boost gets it to 840ish. Some of that difference is due to the interest rate. Based on the cash value that just gave us an annuity of 740 the cash value of last run's 750 annuity would have been

Mega Millions jackpot closes in on $1 billion
I have not played mm since the increase. I think $5 is ridiculous for one ticket but I do not play scratchers either . I prefer to wait for my cash 5 game to reach a certain point and the $1 is a good value. If I choose not to do something, I never think should of or could of after the fact. I am not swayed by a ridiculous long shot. The person who won was destined to win it.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The Mega Millions jackpot has increased by $40 million to $754 million after 35 consecutive rolls and is the largest Mega Millions jackpot since December 2024. This is the largest jackpot increase since the launch of the new format. There is a 3.9% chance the jackpot will be won in the October 28 draw with projected sales of $59 million. The projected sales matches the sales for the previous draw.

Idaho Lottery alerts retailers to possible bulk buying attempt over $877,800 Idaho Cash jackpot
Well this is interesting. I play Virginia Cash 5 when the JP is high and it was averaging a 60 k increase. It jumped by 930 k just before the jp was won.

Lotto Max to undergo significant game changes, price increase
So one in 33 million chance just to win 100,000 that might be split? That's kind of lame. When are these lotteries going to realize they'll make more money when they stop capping the amount of the jackpot. You start getting to two or 300 million then you're really going to start get people to get excited to buy this game. This price increase is totally unnecessary

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
With only 3 days of sales and tickets at $5 a pop ??? Are you seeing that from being at work ? I am not feeling it. Gut check is saying about $19-21M increase on a rollover for the Measly Millions on 9/26

MM $5, PB $2, Powerplay $1I
A lot of players are unhappy with the $5 tickets to the point like they are acting likely already have the amount of the prize, I know I don't so will throw $5 at it. We are in an age where scratchers are anywhere from $1 to $100. Consider what various things cost just a few years ago .It's inevitable that the price of PB will eventually go up and it's not like everyone will quit playing. The fact that people hoping to win multi millions complains about a $3 ticket increase just shows how people

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Where are they putting the additional unexpected $2M in sales?
They're putting it in the same places as every other $5 in sales. They skim half off the top and the rest goes into the prize pools. The ads are only for estimated jackpots, and higher sales increase it. They're not going to change the advertised amount unless sales are substantially higher than expected, and if you got those numbers from the site that shall not be named (which you must have, because the Texas worksheet doesn't

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
It's interesting the estimated sales for mm tonight were $36,789,000 but the actual sales were $38,515,850. That's almost $2M more than expected but there was no change in the jackpot or cash amount or the expected next jackpot. Where are they putting the additional unexpected $2M in sales? I'm not sure how much they keep and how much goes to the jackpot. Is it half? Is that not enough to show an increase?
